DH and I went in and got a new vehicle!! So, out with the old (ours was silver):
We've had this Cavalier it since it was BRAND new off the lot - only 35 kms on it. Problem is, it was a very basic car...the only thing it had in it was a CD player. It was a standard, without air conditioning...it didn't even have mirrors in the backs of the visors (apparently that's an option? who knew?). Overall we hated it, but we didn't have much choice when we picked it up.
So anyway...fast forward 4.5 years, we've been trying for about 3 years to get a new vehicle but because of circumstances, we got screwed on the lease for the Cavalier and couldn't trade it in for something bigger and better. But with the dollar going up, the prices of vehicles dropped, and it became an option for us! Woohoo! So, we headed into the city and drove home in one of these:
Seriously, we LOVE this one. It's a 2007 Chevy Uplander, and it was a lease return...so it has a few kms on it. But that's OK...cause it's like awesome! We got "pewter" (which I assumed when they said that, it was like a dark grey/charcoal...but it's actually like a sand color)...we had a choice between it and a baby blue color...the beige won out, lol!
So, yeah...I'm pretty impressed with our new vehicle...in LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
When we told the kids we were going to look at vans (yes, we took them with us...lol), Mason said "awwww...do we have to get a van? I want a Mustang!!" lmao...brat...he's only 5!
