Rocky and the kids and I went out to Lake Pleasant and rented a boat for the first time EVER. It was an absolute blast, the kids couldnt have been more thrilled and the girls were even brave enough to try tubing for the first time!! We're all exhausted after a long day in the sun but it was soo worth it and we cant wait to do it again!

Everyone wanted to go super fast on the water so I was worried my photos wouldnt come out great with all the movement but I was pleasantly surprised and got some fantastic shots. Take a look...

Look at my sweet little bear - he was soo tired after swimming in the lake - it was a lot of work!

Anyhow, if you havent been boating, I cant recommend it highly enough - it was the most fun we've had in a long time and we have a LOT of fun together :D

Looks like ya'll had a blast! This is also one of my kids favorite things to do. We don't get home to do it as much as we would like. Such beautiful kids you have also!!!

I wish my dad hadn't sold his boat. He did it right before my daughter was born and I begged him not to. I miss going out on the boat
 
You got some gorgeous gorgeous photos!! Looks like it was sooo much fun, I would love to do that kinda thing but my kiddos arent old enough yet! I cant wait though! I used to go tubing as a kid and totally remeber how much fun it was!

I hope we can go visit my brother before the end of summer now that he finally got his boat working properly, so the kids can try tubing and waterskiing!!
 
super fun robin! those photos are sooo sweet! we are planning on taking my families boat out in the next week or two...we need to get out and play in the water!
 
looks like a blast!! We haven't had our boat out yet... wish the gas prices weren't so high that is one of the reasons it's been dry docked (ie in the portable garage) LOL

I grew up boating. It was always something we enjoyed doing as a family. My parents still have a boat and have taken my boys out on it each summer when they've come to visit. I think dh & I need to look into renting one out here.

I'm jealous though, cos it is FREEZING and raining over here atm :( Hurry up and be done with your summer so we can have it - LOL!
 
How fun! I love boating too! We have a small boat but don't use it too often and when we do it's always a blast! Great pics Robin!
