Look what my son made now!

We had our Mother's day tea this morning. It was so cute the class sang a few songs and then we had some treats. The class made us frames and did a fill in the blank form; I'm now 9 and my favorite tv show is the news. LOL
I thought these flowers were adorable, so I had to ask how to make them. I might make a few to give to the grandmothers.

Directions:
1. Cut a small styrofoam cup to create the petals. Stop about an inch to 1.5 inches from the bottom.
2. Bake in at 250 oven until the petals fall and curl under. (This should happen pretty quickly)
3. Paint and decorate!

OK, my eyes are playing ames on me then...those pics did not show up the first time I looked.......:confused:
 
What a super idea! Thanks for sharing this penny - I might try it with the preschoolers (after the baking bit of course!)
 
What a great idea! I should pass on the idea to some of my teacher friends who are always looking for Mother's Day craft ideas.
