Look what I made!

Thank you to everyone who suggested selling patterns - I might just do that!
Does anyone here want to volunteer right now to test them for me?

I use the eco something felt that is made out of recycled pop bottles! I can't afford wool felt! *LOL* Remember, I made these for my daughter so I could save money. :) $10 of felt and I have more than enough for 100 puppets. Woll would be amazing though. I did buy brand new super sharp fabric scissors before I started this. I would recommend sharp scissors!

Super, super sweet!!!!

What kind of felt did you use? Wool? How do you cut them out without the edges looking all frayed and lame? I tried to make stuff out of felt before, and my edges looked all fuzzy and ragged. Maybe my scissors just weren't sharp enough.

I have seen some really cute barrettes with felted designs for little girls... maybe by the time dd has enough hair, I will be able to figure them out.:p

Seriously? Patterns?? I could do that! I guess I didn't think that that would sell. I wouldn't even mind cutting out all the PIECES and string needed and everything so people could stitch them themselves! I could make kits...

Those would be so cute! I would totally buy a kit!! Saves some $$ than buying them pre-made, and I would be able to brag to people that I "made" them, lol!!

Those are freakin' amazing...I bet the kits would really sell...I have a friend that makes felt things ALL the time. Her DH even makes her felt for her.

They are fabulous!

I second the dinosaur idea, and how about some farmyard puppets too? And don't forget Halloween, Easter bunnies, and all the other fab holidays.

Remember if you do sell the patterns, that this can open up the rest of the world as potential customers too - posting your creations would be too expensive to Europe etc, but downloads can be made available to every one! Paypal is a wonderful thing :)

I can't stop coming back to look at these cuties - they're just too adorable. But when I was looking a few minutes ago, my almost 3 year-old son walked by, stopped, and said "Hey! All my favorite books!" Then he would NOT let me scroll past them or go to any other window I have open. He literally stood here and described each one to me in vivid detail (like I couldn't see them for myself...lol.) Needless to say, if you do sell these, I'll definitely be buying a few!

Send them to me and I'll try them out this weekend! If you want. I've sewn felt stuff before but never this super cute! I have boys but I know a little girl here who would LOVE them!

It'll take me a while to put together a useable pattern and instructions and whatnot. A week at least! But feel free to try it out on your own and 'steal' my design if you're making them for your kiddos! These are two and a half inches tall by one and a half inches, approx. You'll need to know the blanket stitch to get even stitches for the sides, but other than that there isn't much fancy work invovled!

Oh I can wait for the instructions I just thought you needed someone ASAP. But whenever you get them done, I'd love to "test" them out for you (to make sure the instructions make sense etc). You totally could sell those or instructions like everyone else said. I will at least buy some felt this weekend with my coupon that I have.

These are awesome!!!! :thumbup:I don't blame you for not wanting to pay $5.00 a piece for them....Good for you being so crafty that you were able to make your own....

My Grandchildren would love these I'm sure!

Okay, so I keep coming back to look at these little beauties! :) And, I think I have to say that the little 3-eyed monster is my fave! LOVE him! HAHA!

Oooh Lindy these are absolutely AMAZING and beyond adorable!!! I am so completely in love with them!!! Gorgeous, gorgeous job girl!
