I love those!!! I still haven't gotten my book from ebay :(

I want to try my book first before I order more, to see if I'm even capable of this kind of crafting LOL

IF I can do it..you can do it. I have the worst scissor skills ever. I did a bit of edge sanding to make mine neater lol

That is fantastic Darcy! I love the scroll album, but it's a little intimidting for a newbie like myself! LOL

Oh Darcy that is super! How'd u ink the edges (and what color and type - can you tell Im going to copy you inch by inch?! LOL)?

Thanks guys! Heather did the physical album..and I'm sure the inked edges were done with a stamp pad and/or some sponges on the edges. I'll make sure she sees this to comment!

She did a great job!!

Thanks everyone! I really love this album! Darcy did a fantastic job on the pages and it is the first one I've made up with my own pictures! I'll be sending it to my parents near Mother's Day I think!

I used the Xyron Cheetah for the first time and it worked well. I sanded all the excess paper off (directions come with all my albums) and inked the edges with a brown pigment ink pad (I think it is Hero Arts that came with a stamp set - it is small, square with a white base and clear lid). I inked much more than I intended to - all the angles made it impossible to get the ink in them without really pressing! Then I sealed the whole thing with ModPodge matte sealer and a foam brush. I added buttons, charms, ribbon and that cute pre-painted wooden dragonfly - all from Wal-Mart!

Ya'll are just killing me here with the replies to way old posts! I got excited to see what Darcy was up to now and shot, I already knew this! LOL.... love the giant dragonfly!
