Hey everyone! It's been a looooong time since I've been active around here. Hubby was deployed to Afghanistan and he apparently took my mojo with him, then he hid it somewhere when he got back
So even though he got back 1 yr ago, I'm just getting back into the scrapping mode.
Then we moved... from Alberta where all my friends were (we lived there for 8yrs) all the waaaaaay to Quebec! We're closer to family (8hrs drive instead of 5 days drive) but still - I'm feeling very isolated and alone :crying:
I started getting dirty with hybrid crafting yrs ago, just before loosing my mojo and would love to get together with some people in real life to do some hands on as well as digi crafting... maybe try some art journaling, smash booking etc...
I speak a little french, but live in a very french community - even most of the parents from my DD's english school - are actually french.
So all of this to say...
Does anyone live IRL somewhere around Montreal, Quebec???
I'd love to get together for a day/weekend of crafting occasionally (when hubby's not tasked out somewhere)... and bitch with another anglophone about the "frenchies" of Quebec... lol...
Thanks for letting me vent!
