LOM anyone?

Is anyone else taking the Library of Memories class over at BPS this year?

They hooked me in since they are also going into the digital side of organization this year. Even though I am primarily a paper/hybrid scrapper 99.9% of my photos are all stored digitally...and let me tell you it's a MESS in there.

DF started the photo oganizing plan that we currently use and it just doesn't work for me. 1. it's not current...there are multiple "to sort" folders spread out on several machines. 2. The only real photos he's got organized properly are all the millions of geocaching photos....

So yeah, I'm going to try this class and Stacy's system and see where that gets me...hopefully able to scrap more and hunt for photos less.

I'm signed up to take it as an Alumni. I failed to REALLY implement the system last year (although I was much more organized than before I took the class), but the digital side of things wasn't REALLY a focus. I'm excited to see more/a revamped digital side of things. :)

I just don't have the money but maybe next year, I'll save up and do it. It looks like a fantastic class and I would to get organized like that.

I can't find it on their site, is it only offered to prior students? 2010 is supposed to be my year of getting organized!

I'm taking this class too!! Would either of you or anyone else at SSD who is taking the class be interested in a Library of Memories digital scrapbooking support group?

I'd love this! I'm already so far behind with the class due to my back being totally out that I can't do a thing!
I just ordered myself a second EHD that will be here tomorrow so I really get into sorting out some photos. I can't even pick up the box that all my LOs are store in at the moment so week 1 work for me is totally out of the question...oh well, maybe next week I can get caught up.

I have so much going on right now. I'm basically just downloading all the assignments and things, and planning on giving it a serious go later. Alum's can take it for 2 years for free (well, the first year is free, the second might have a small charge) after your first paying year, so I wanted to take advantage of that. The timing could not be worse for me, but such is life.

Great Firewolf! Could you pm me with your email address? I can't seem to send a new pm (maybe I'm too young?)

Colleen, if you are interested later let me know - I'm hoping to keep it going past the end of class cause I sure know I'll be really behind.

Hey Heather, I tried to send you a PM but you're too young for that too...I think you need to have 10 posts to be able to send and receive PM's. So, perhaps you could go post a few comments or replies to get to your 10 and see where we can go from there. :)

It's bedtime for me here, so I'm off to bed in a few minutes, but I'll check in here in the morning.

You get two free alumni years (so three years all together). I would have had to pay for this year ($50) so I'm skipping it. I'm curious to know what the digi changes are but I decided I really don't need the class again, I just need to actually deal with my photos on a more than once a year basis, haha.
