please tell me it's not in style for girls to wear ugly plaid shirts again :D :D :D I was just browsing through some online stores and saw quite a few hideous plaids---- I don't want to be there again.. it was a bad phase. :D

Icky...I'm with ya...Although its kinda in for the boys I noticed when I was B2S shopping. I bought Zak the cutest plaid kinda western style with a hip edge shirt at AE.

Ce does have some plaids-- but they're like................ nice material. Not flannel :D
 
I'll have you know that my husband and I both wear plaid bermuda shorts and they are effing H O T.
 
I'm not talking about shorts-- while I think those are ugly too LMAO-- this is entirely different .. and grosser :D
 
LMAO!!! Me too :) I will not have them for my children to make fun of! They do that enough with the huge dorky glasses I used to wear. So not cute glasses :( Really huge, dorky ones. and my mother of course thought it would be great for me to have a gold "N" on them too. :p
 
Ohhh Zak totally rocks the plaid bermudas...A&F had some HOT ones on clearance...Connor won't touch anything trendy with a ten foot pole...that includes anything besides khaki-and solid stripes...
 
Oh I live in plaid bermuda shorts...my favorite are the patchwork madras plaid type...with all the different plaids in them...I even have plaid sneakers! And I happen to think that plaid flannel cowboy shirts are hizzot. Someone may want to check on La, I am pretty sure she is convulsing right now...either that or deleting me off her facebook.

Oh yeah, those Nirvana-era, early 90s plaid shirts need to stay away forever.

I have seen plaid bermuda shorts and plaid skirts for little girls at some of the places I shop at for my girls. I think plaid is all the rage again, but luckily it's much cuter than that grungy icky stuff from back then (at least for kids).

I actually LOVE plaid skirts. Plaid shirts? Not so much LOL

Some of the things coming back, I refuse to buy (skinny jeans anyone?) and these will be included LOL
 
Ah the good ole' days of grunge and Nirvana. I like the style for other people, but just not me. I look so ridiculous stuff like that and I'm not putting it on my kid. She's too girly for it too. We'd look so stupid in flannel :D

Those are all over the HS and if you are a perfect size 1-4 they look so awesome. I look at some of those girls and think...DANG...gain some weight.
BUT
Yes, they are back...if they start pegging the legs I will be done...faint right there in the hallway.

lmao no.. actually, I don't mind plaid on shoes strangely I think they're cute-- I think I can just take it in small doses. But I Swear.. if I see girls wearing those ugly colour toned oversized plaid shirts.. I will be very sad :D

Like.. black and pink plaid-- pretty cute-- not in a shirt-- but you know.
 
I used to do this to my jeans in jr high... ugh! LOL, but it was a good way to hide the fact that I had a hard time finding jeans long enough :) Yea, eventually I just started wearing boys because I could pick the length.

:D :D I remember doing that at some point too.. my cousin "taught" me how to do it............ :glare: lameness. LOL
 
Umm, yes, I wore flannels in high school, too....along with huge baggy jeans and backwords hats. :thumbdown: Why I hide that tiny body under huge clothes, I wish I knew. :blink:

Cause my DS loves plaid, shirts and shorts and has a ton! I only have plaid shorts and I love them! I don't think I'd wear a plaid shirt but I think my DS looks great in them.

I haven't shopped for real clothes in years,lol. I've never any real clue about what's in fashion,lol. I guess I need some illustrations of this plaid :P
