Poor kid & cat.. apparently they're both afraid of thunder now-- or more so just weren't prepared for this next wave of rumbling. It's bright and sunny when you look out one set of windows, but dark and scary on the other side :D :D I think it's the tail end of the storms though... hopefully it dries out and we can go to the playground or something tomorrow. I was without internet for a few hours this afternoon (eek LOL the horror :D :D ) because of all the cranky rumbling.
 
lol, La! I thought my kids were going to fall over last time it stormed here! My little guy was like "We need to leave and go to Aunt Ashley's wight now!"

We went there 1 time b/c there was a tornado close.
 
LOL We have been having that kinda weather lately too! We got our first break today! Lily is terrified of it!
 
Oh I so can't wait for these stupid storms and constant rain to stop, I thought we were going to see a bit of sun today but it was very brief - I need dry weather, my boys are going crazy in the house!
 
Yeah, we have had those types of storms for weeks now. One minute it's sunny, the next minute, the roads are flooded and people's toilets are spewing sewage. Yeah, that's fun...luckily, I haven't had that happen yet...although, I would probably take sewage as opposed to no internet..now there's a picture..me sitting on the laptop with sewage floating at my feet...

lmao.. well thankfully I am on the 3rd floor.. so any spewage will be beneath me :D :D anyway.. as I discovered in my travel thread.. you're not that far from me.. so we're experiencing the same storms ;)
 
NO WAY!!! That is totally cool La!! I have never found someone online that I actually live close to...good thing I don't work at a grocery store, or I would totally think I was grocery store guy.
 
seriously.. .It's been insane. Not that I really mind the respite from the blood boiling.. but- I'd kinda like to go outside a lil more :D
 
It's funny.. because there's not usually many peeps from this area. I was super shocked to find out Susan was from Mass (I'm actually in RI).. and now there's even more peeps :D
 
Yeah...it doesn't seem like scrapbooking is as popular in this part of the country as it is in others. Although, Right at Home Scrapbooking, down by you LA, is pretty big. I am in Acton, which is metro-west of Boston.....near Lexington & Concord. There are a handful of LSSs throughout the state so, somebody must be scrappin.

But seriously, can you believe this rain?????

The rain HAS GOT TO stop or I'm going to go out of my mind! And the power going out because of it is insane!

I work part-time in Lexington so that's pretty close to you Susan - pretty neat!
 
We've had some major storms lately...at least major for this area. My DS is terrified, but my DD couldn't care less...so funny to watch the pair of them.
 
I take Rt. 1 to the tobin bridge right into the city, I live literally right off of Rt. 1. To Lexington I take 95 to exit 31b and it's right on the Bedford line (not sure where Rt. 2 is).
 
You guys def. have more LSS out by you, the best hope I have is Michael's or AC Moore...lol...

Ok, La, my wife is from right on the RI line, she grew up in Douglas...near you?

BTW who has been to Wright's Chicken Farm?
 
Oh Cambridge is nice, very pricey to live there now! I am not from here originally, I was born and raised in ME on the border of Canada - 8 hours away! I moved here 14 years ago.

As for LSS I only know of one in Topsfield, other than that there's a Michaels and Joanns and AC Moore like 5 minutes away.

I've heard of Wright's Chicken Farm but never been.
 
No, but I live ONE MINUTE from Holyoke Mall...literally, it's right down the road. This is totally cool!! We have hijacked La's thread, but this is still cool...

And Susan, this rain is going to make me crazy. My wife says that she thinks that we are going to be in for a really bad winter...and it's scary b/c around here the air is already getting that crisp fall feel and leaves are starting to change.
 
Ohhh how cool! It's just really neat to even know that some of you are so close!

I sure hope we aren't in for a bad winter, ugh! I hate winter!
 
I've been to wright's farm.. LOL I'm a veg now though so ..... uh.. not my favorite place :D :D :D :D

douglas is about 27 minutes away.. and not right on the RI line :D :D *I* am right on the mass line.. I Can spit into mass LOL
