Let's talk Twilight cast....

I think they'll recast Jacob in the next one, he's going to be too small. But I think for the first movie he's perfect.

I think John C. Riley would have been a better Charlie as far as looks go.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say I think Jonathan Rhys Meyers would have been my perfect Edward. His eyes and lips are just yummy... and he has that haunting stare.

I thought hte trailer was really poorly acted. I mean, the book is pretty intense, and the romance is so over the top, but she is just such a good writer that you find yourself totally believing it. I'm not sure the actors are up to the task of making me a believer. I am gonna let you gals watch it first before I ruin the romance in my mind.
 
I agree with the Rosalie!! I pictured her differently. But I think for the first movie Jacob is perfect!! He is only 12 in this book so it works. Besides by the time they make the next movie he might have grown a bit...LOL!! But definitely not enough....LOL!!

I think Jonathan Rhys Meyers is very yummy but too old to play Edward I think. He is afterall forever 17!! :D
 
Yes Paula... that's the ONLY problem with JRM playing Edward... not sure they could make him look 17... not even if he's been 17 for 80 years. lol

Wouldn't it be so much fun if we could all go to the movie together. sigh

He was 15 in the first book, not 12. He's only 2 years younger than Bella.

He is definitely closer to who I pictures. Their pick isnt bad, but his eyebrowns need more grooming :unsure:
Jasper and Emmett disappointed me most I think. Emmett I pictured a tad bigger.
 
i'm not sold on Edward. . .he's growing on me, but i just pictured him more perfect. . .like Emmett! and, i think they should have cast a more true blonde for Rosalie. . . i was thinking that she had really white hair, not something where you can see root growth!
 
I can't remember; does this open on Nov.21 or 22?
The movie is kind of an anniversary present,lol. He'll drop me off at the movie (can't tell you the last time I went to a movie alone,lol) and he'll go shopping (i.e. window shopping) to his hearts content and pick me up when it's over.
You know, I don't think we can ever be satisfied with who's casted as who, because we all form these pictures in our heads for what each person should look like. So many of those pics are studio shots. I will pass judgement after I see the movie,lol.
 
It opens on the 21st. I'm sure Steph had some opinion on who was cast, so the people that were chosen must somewhat look like the way she imagined them to look.
