Let's talk christmas trees!

I prefer real... in the same way that I would prefer to be a size 12.

Alas, I am neither a size 12 nor is our tree real. :p

fake... never had a real one growing up, and dh is allergic... plus I like lights already there and no needles all over... :)

I love my prelit fake one. I grew up with real trees -- and remember the mess of needles! Not to mention the fire hazard worries. I'll stick with my pretty artificial tree. :)

I have a prelit fake one. I grew up with real trees as well. My parents still get a real one. With kids and dogs, i don't want to deal with the mess and hazard.

Grew up with real ones. My mother watered those. I apparently did not inherit that gene. I tried to have real ones for a few years and all the needles fell off. I absolutely love my latest slimline fake tree. Takes up so much less space and takes a lot less time to decorate and un-decorate.

We bought a fake one 3 years ago when we moved into our new house. We love it. We travel a lot during the holidays and an artificial tree makes that so much easier.

Fake. Though we haven't got one here at the moment... As a kid, living in tropical country gave me no choice of having a real tree :P

Fake. My husband and I are allergic to everything and all the bugs in a real tree creep me out. Love my fake tree, so much fuller and perfect than all the scrawny real ones.

Real! I love them smell. I would like a really nice artificial one someday, but I'm suuuuper picky about fake trees so the ones that look realistic enough to me are the $400 ones.

Trees must be different over there because the real ones here are super full :D Fake ones seen scrawny to me - LOL. And I've never found a bug on one yet - must be tool cold for them here to survive.

Fake. We put our tree up around Thanksgiving and leave it up for at least a month, so I'd be concerned about it drying out. That plus 3 cats would be chewing on the needles. And the dog...well, one guess what he'd be wanting to do.

I absolutely love the smell of real trees. However, I've never had one & never known any of my family to have one either and for the first time ever (as far back as I can remember) theres a little place near my house that is selling real ones this year which is awesome. I'll probably always have artificial though, they seem so much fuller. I do love a big, bushy, full tree!

Fake though I love real, the guilt of chopping down nature to put in my living room for 30 days or less is overwhelming. Same reason I try not to waste paper.

Fake.
We lived in an appartement for some years with no elevator, so we had to push the tree up the stairs.an We had very picky neighbours. They would go crazy if they would find only one needle.
