Laundry Woes

I just went in to switch the laundry out. I put the still warm, nice smelling, fluffy dry clothes in the laundry basket, and then moved the wet clothes from the washer to the dryer. THEN...I stuffed the still warm, nice smelling, fluffy dry clothes BACK into the washer and turned it on, poured in detergent and fabric softener.......then I STARTING CURSING A BLUE STREAK!!!!! Epic fail

At least you got that far? I started a load this morning and never even went back to the laundry room. I guess I'll be doing laundry all day tomorrow. :/

oh my I thought I was the only one who did that! I have put dirty laundry in the washer along with laundry soap and filled it up. Only to go back in later to empty everything into the dryer and realized I never shut the lid!

I always forget to take the last load out of the dryer, end up putting it on fluff to work out the wrinkles and then forget it all over again. I swear, sometimes I fluff the same load 5 or 6 times.

I have no washer or dryer at home so we do laundry at the laundromat. I once walked out of the laundromat and left all our jeans in a dryer. The laundromat was a good distance from home at the time too. Open 24 hours a day and we would go later in the evening when it was slow to get the clothes done quickly. Imagine my horror when I went to get the kids ready the next day and had no clean pants for them!! We hurried as fast as we could to the laundromat and they were all there in the dryer. Sooo thankful nobody stole them. (believe it or not I have had a load of clothes stolen before:thumbdown:)

I had a load of clothes stolen at the laundry mat, too, Jessica. It was a big mix of my clothes and my boyfriend at the time's work clothes. Sucked.

I wish I had my own laundry.

Oh my! I actually don't think I've ever done this. I'm kind of surprised I haven't though... I hope the rest of your laundry went better! :D

That's something I've never done... LOL. I have my own laundry issues though, believe me!! The kids needed specific shirts for Friday and what did I do?? Put stuff in the dryer but apparently didn't turn it on. So I'm rushing around at 6 in the morning trying to get them dry!

I've never left clothes in a laundry mat for that reason... always afraid they will disappear.

Im famous for not going and pulling the wet clothes from the washer to put in the dryer and then forgetting about them. go back in a few days and its STANKY! So I wind up washing them 2 more times- one with a cup of vinegar to get out the mildew smell and then another time with regular detergent.
