laundry detergent recommendation

lauren grier

you're like stars
as in.. I am recommending one for you as I know there was much discussion about laundry that day lol

I can't sing this stuff enough praises, I'm actually amazed by how well it works. I don't know how many of you remember my post a while back desperately searching for a free & clear laundry detergent that actually could manage.. man stink & something that none of us reacted to.

After trying. pretty much every brand of free & clear.. and either a) it not working or b) one of us (me) breaking out in hives my mom suggested we try the brand she had just switched to.
Biokleen-- expensive at first, but you use the teeeeeeeeeniest tiniest amount of soap AND no.freaking.stinky.or.itchies!

plus it's all good for the earth and that stuff.

I use the free & clear one for obvious reasons, she uses one of the smelly ones- whatever lol it's her clothes. She said it's mostly just citrusy. I believe it was about $12 for the 128 load bottle at whole foods. Which was steep imo for detergent... but this stuff seems to be worth it. I do a lot of laundry and the bottle is lasting a decent amount of time so far.

They're building a Whole Foods (we call it Whole Paycheck hehe) about 10 mins from me. I can't wait. I'll check it out then. I'm always game to try something new to destink our schtuff. Glad you found something that works!

also mari, that where to find list of theirs is apparently way off.. not that that is helpful in ANY way lol.. it doesn;t even list whole foods.. and it's even ON the whole foods site that they have it lol.

Oh, I'll check amazon then. Nicholas has eczema so I always have to watch what I use on his laundry. I have been using homemade stuff I buy off etsy.
