Last nights AMAs

Did anyone else watch the AMAs last night? I honestly wasn't that impressed with any of the performances. I did have a few stand outs...Carrie Underwood (I'm a bit bias though...love her!!!), Jay Z and Alicia Keys...I love that song!, obviously Lady Gaga and Adam Lambert...um weird!!! I felt like Lady Gagas performance was a mix between a bad acid trip and the movie Alien. And Adam Lambert's performance reminded me of a musical production for the "nasty".

I was really surprised that Taylor Swift stole the show though. Ok well not really surprised but pretty surprised. And I am really upset that Michael Jackson won those awards only because he is dead. They couldn't award him anything while he was alive for the past 5 years but now they will?

I wasnt surprised Taylor Swift won so many awards. She is an amazing singer. I love her sooo much. Dont really like many of the singers they had on. I was soooo mad that Jason Aldean did not win best male country singer though. Also upset Eminem didnt win for the rap category because I love him too. Overall I thought most of the ones who won should not have.
 
I too thought some of the ones that won shouldnt have...I was pretty much able to call the winners though. Kinda predictable.
I was surprised they let Eminem perform...lol...every other word was bleeped. But I do love me some Eminem.
 
I watched and I was probably half loving and half hating it. LOL :D I'm with you on the Michael Jackson thing. No disrespect to him but how can they put him in a catergory when he has had NO new music?? He only needed those two awards to hit a record....maybe that's why **shrug** I loved the Alica Jay Z performance and Mary J Blige, I also really liked Rihanna's performance. I like the whole rocker/ bad A$$ chick thing she had going on. LOL Hmmm....what else. I KNOW I'm missing a few but I can't think. Lady Gaga was alittle strange....erm...quite strange but she has quite the voice, I'll give her that. I have to finish watching the rest tonight I missed Adam Lambert, (the last 45 minutes).
 
Kristin you totally need to watch the rest of the show to see Adam Lambert's performance...it was...interesting. Which I knew it would be but WOW.
 
I just went and found it (lambert boys performance) on perez hilton, cause I wanted to see....... wow. ^_^ that is all.
