We've had several tornadoes hit here in the past hour. Everyone okay?





I had one hit 15 minutes away from my house while I was at my doctor's appointment. I headed home from the doctor and 5 min after I left, it got hit by a different tornado.
 
i am at work, there was a funnel cloud directly outside my window. we have no storm shelter but are doing the best we can.

jj is at daycare and fine. abby is at school and i am trusting she is fine. i so far cannot locate jeff. he was headed to abby's school to have lunch w/ her and when i last spoke with him he was on 435 which is the highway they said get off of immediately. i am holding on to a hope that he was already at abbys school when it hit and is therefore in the basement with her. we have no cell service right now.
 
So far we are all ok. My husband was at work and a tornado went right near them. Luckily when it was over them it had gone back up and was just rotating above them. Sara, I hope everything is ok with your family. I'll be praying for you!

Kenzi, how are things in Olathe? I'm a little scared to go home. :blink:
 
It was sunny earlier, but now stormy again. I haven't heard any severe weather warnings yet though. But I don't think I'll rest easy until this storm system moves out. Glad your family is safe!

It's sunny in Spring Hill and it looks like the storms are going to push north past Olathe soon. I think we're sending our sunny weather your way ;)
 
It's just moving into our area now. Looks like we'll be camping out in the basement. I'm glad I'm off work today and don't have to worry about where everyone is...we're all here together.
