Kodak scanner?

I saw a personal scanner at Staples tonight. It takes up to 8x10 photos and scans them as well as 35mm negatives. I dont have a lot of the negatives but I have tons and tons of photos I would like to scan before they get any more destroyed. I have a scanner on my printer but it is such a complete pain to use. Im really thinking I might like this for christmas but wanted to see if anyone had used one before and if they are easy to use and scan the photos well.

That is the one I am thinking of asking my hubby for. I also know my aunt has a lot of photos which if I had that scanner I could go over there and get a whole bunch in one day.

It appears to have decent reviews. But wanted to see if anyone had any personal experience with one

Oooh!! I want one of those! My sisters has a lot of photos I don't have and they won't share! I could take this with me when I go visit them and scan all their photos!
I have a Canon MP250 series printer and scanner.

Im pretty sure I want to get it. I have so many photos I would like to scan in that have not been scanned. Some are of my daughter when she was a baby and I have just a few of those. And hopefully one day I will get my picture back from my stepdad. He as of now says he deserves to keep them. Even though he and I do not have a relationship.
