Kit Requests...

Haven't seen any in the Shoppe (haven't looked hard either), but I'd love a military themed kit that would work for patriotic holidays, air shows, boot camp, etc. (Even those pics of my baby dressed in his camo shirt and shorts.)

I'd love it if it were somewhat grungy. I know the military look all crisp in their uniforms when they're parading, but that's so not how they look when they're really doing their jobs.

Definitely need some camo in there. Maybe some wordart too with the different military recruiting themes from over the years. And it'd be awesome if it'd work for modern military, as well as those pics I have of my grandpa from World War II (and my dad when he was in boot camp).

I love the idea of the potty training kit....since my little guy has been succeeding with this I so want to scrap about it!!! But it needs some cute lil boy undies too! Like some with little trucks or baseballs or trains on em! Some cute lil potty's and reward sticker looking elements! That would be awesome!

I see all these requests for a potty training kit, lol. Are these pages going to be the ones you pull out in later years to embarrass your kids (i.e. blackmail muahaha) as they grow up,lol?

LOL, Brooke about the potty training pages!!! :) :)

Running kit would be great. Or some sporty one but not about games. You know, "Nike: No game. Just sport." :) :) :)
Like timer, even alpha could be like on digi-watch, running path and track, water bottles, start numbers...

I was going through old pictures and found a whole bunch of my kids when they were teething. With drool hanging out of their mouths, with teething rings in their mouths, with EVERYTHING in their mouths, screaming pictures and ones of their first tooth. I'd like to see a teething/first tooth kit.

yeah and it would need some kind of alcoholic beverage in it for the page about surviving teething... lol.. kidding.. kinda

I would like a kit for a toodler about getting into their big kid beds growing up.

Also nascar, cutsie nascar, my 2 year old loves watching it with mommy and daddy.

Jam making/ berry picking

Little people kit, my daughter loves her little people.

Potty kit definityly, also the water slide type kit.

I've requested this kit several times over the last year or even 2 years...a tropical santa/Christmas kit. I know its a bit early for Christmas, but, I'm loving all the tropical kits that are finally coming out with palm tress and shells and critters. So, I'm thinking "Tropical Christmas" would be an excellent theme, for all those of us who NEVER have snow, and celebrate Christmas with sunshine and beaches. Santa rides a dolphin, don't ya know!!! :)

Thanks for reading :)

So many great ideas here! I second (or third or whatever) the Chunky Monkey kit, but in a girl version too!! Some other ideas:

1. Gymnastics, gymnastics, gymnastics!!! Did I say gymnastics? :)

2. Baby's first birthday - would be great in both girl and boy versions as a combo pack, and hopefully with a FWP album for chipboard.

Yeah, there's no kinda about it! :p

Of course my MIL would tell you the alcohol is for the baby...you know, rubbing Jack Daniels on their gums?

I'd buy it just because it combines my favorite theme - Beaches with Christmas!!!

this isn't a full kit, but kinda meets your request...

I have thought about a monkey kit too since I call my girls monkeys... cute and girlie was what I pictured... I don't know if its possible for me to do boy kits! hehehe

Oh, I know you can do boy friendly kits cause I own some of your kits and I only have a boy! :)

I think a Surfin' Santa kit would be too cute, although here in Oklahoma he's more likely to be riding in an old pickup truck.
Here's what I've been looking for for months, with no luck:
1. Native American theme (not southwestern stuff)...we have lots of pow-wows around here and would love to scrap them
2. Redneck woman (DH's girls LOL) or redneck in general
3. A doodle-y yellowish submarine (thanks to Rachel's love of the Wonder Pets)...maybe with 60's tie-dye to go along with? (Hello, Beatles)
4. State Fair (complete with the junk food LOL)
5. Piggy banks

And I've got one, but would love more pink camo

County Fair -- would that work?

I think that would be a great kit for some of the fairs and festivals we go to, but I'm thinking more of something that evokes the whole Midway feel...the bright lights, rides, bold colors, etc.

LOL, but now I'm wanting to go to get some more pics at the local fair so I can justify buying that kit too!

Oh boy, sounds like I'm going to be in big trouble this weekend with all the wonderful sounding kits coming out! If only my Scrap-4-hire business would pick up so I could afford ALL the great kits!

Keep the ideas coming too!

I second the motion for potty training kits, piggy banks kit, and the waterpark one too!

How about a kit for a teen's first job? My 16yr old sister just got her first job and I'm doing a mini album for her about her summer with us and would love something to scrap the story and photos of her first summer job! (she's working in a hospital kitchen cleaning pots and pans etc... poor thing! But at least the money's good - I almost fainted when she told me how much she was making as a student for a summer job! - $13+/hour!)

Quick, I need that job so I can buy more kits! Sad to say but I've never made that much, ever, even after teaching preschool at the same place for 16 years.

lol, move to Alberta! Our province (outside of the major cities though) are desperate for employees. The minimum requirements for many jobs is very small, and the pay is pretty good. You can make $13/hour just working at McDonalds or as a cashier at Walmart out here! I'd be working, but it's nearly impossible to find childcare. So I'm waiting till my DD is in grade 1, then she'll be in school all day and I can go back to work then. I only have another.... 2 yrs to go! LOL! In the mean time I'm trying some scrap-4-hire stuff.

Well, this isn't an SSD kit, but Pat Christensen has a really cute Surfin with Santa kit over at W&W.

I was just coming to post something similar. I need G.I. Joe's!!!! My DS is always playing G.I. Joe or "Army Men" as he calls it. I am forever finding little Joe's all over the house, in the water fountain, in our "forest" in our backyard, on top of rocks, etc.... Lots of cammo, some guns, and even some of the little plastic men would be great!

I would love to see a wrestling kit, Lukas is John Cena crazy and my nephew Conor went to see WWE a little while back and took some fab photos. Camo would be great too because almost everyone of his many many John Cena clothing items has camo on it somewhere and it's a nightmare finding stuff to match it lol.

I'm darn near desperate for a Harry Potter-ish/magic kit, but I've not seen just what I'm looking for yet.

I'll second the weight loss kit, if for no other reason than it might just motivate me to lose weight so I can scrap about it! :w00t:
