Kit Question

I'm sure this has been asked before, but i don't care, lol.

Have you ever bought a kit because your kids or whoever has an outfit or in my case a toy that would go great with the kit? Last week i bought Aidan a $1 tex dinosaur at Dollar General. its cute caue its almost kind of friendly looking and it will go great with Melissa's Rawr kit lol. i'm thinkinf of getting it on the first. the little dinosaurs are too cute! Plus Aidan' 2nd birthday is next month and i could possibly use it for some hybrid decorations.

'course now i cant seem to locate said dinosaur; it's around here somewhere. Aidan seems to like them. which is cool. since i do too. i used to want to be an archaeologist. if you ask him what a dinosaur says he goes "rawr!" its too cute!

I definitely buy kits to match my kids' outfits... Now if I could just get someone to make a "manly vintage military" kit, I could actually scrap my DH... since the only time I really see him he is surrounded by his jeeps and truck...

Oh, my gosh, I do that all the time. I go places just to use a kit. It helps create memories though.

I didn't force them to be pirates, but when my son said pirate.. that was the first thought that popped into my head.. yay.. I get to buy Ship Mates... LOL

I was just going to post about the exact opposite. I buy outfits with specific kits in mind! lol Just yesterday i snagged a few cute tees because they would go perfectly with La & Kristin's Beep Boop! I have also been known to do what you are describing, and of course to plan my pics around kits or LOs that i want to do. Its sad, really! LMBO!

oH AND AFTER READING THE OTHER REPLIES I AM SUPER EXCITED TO FINALLY GET TO USE sHIP MATES SINCE ds IS BEING A PIRATE THIS YEAR FOR HALLOWEEN! wHOOO hOO!! Can't believe i didn't think of that sooner!!! I bought Ship mates when it was released because I wanted the free with purchase album and have yet to use the kit for anything other than a name tag for pirate day at the day camp I work at lol (though it was a sweet ass name tag! hehe).

*Ooops, sorry about the caps, I'm typing on an unfamiliar keyboard on campus (I am used to my flat tiny laptop keys) and accidentally hit the caps lock lol.
