Great idea, Shawna! I thought about systems like that, but I also found that they were too much work for me. Aside from remembering to write it all down, the hardest part was that if some children were having screen time and the others weren't, I had to go get them out of the family room every 5 minutes because they kept going in to watch. It works best for me if I declare a certain time screen time, then let all of them watch or play at the same time. I had to go one step further this summer and say no screen time until 4:30, when we're done with the day's activities and I'm getting dinner ready. I was having the same problem as you, with the kids not wanting to go out and do things because they wanted their screen time first. The printables look great, though, and if I can think of a good way to use them for something other than screen time I may give them a try!
