Went to bed last night with a half finished layout in Photoshop. At some point last night, the power went off. Had I saved my progress? Nope, of course not. I was already frustrated with the layout anyway, now I don't even want to start it again..

Gah!
 
awww that bites!! but maybe starting fresh is a good thing since it wasn't working for you? I frequently start one in the evening, close it and come back the next day - sometimes the "walking away" does me good creatively. KWIM?
 
That sucks Harley! I hate when that happens. Especially hate it when PSP locks up when all I have to do to finish one is the journaling and the autosave never worked. That happened to me last week.
 
I esp. love when it says "Photoshop has encountered a problem, and needs to close now"...and you know I haven't saved...I am always like, "yeah, we'll sorry about your problem, but I need to finish here..." Yeah, that never works.
 
SORRY! That totally bites. Yeah just yesterday I was working on a CT LO and PSE got all wonky and wouldn't let me save. I treid closing out the window and it would ask, would you like to save? "YES!" but then the dang window never popped up! Even my keyboard shortcut wouldn't work! Now I'm really dreading redoing it...
 
When I lose a LO I usually start a totally new one with a different plan in mind. Then I can go back to that other one if the inspiration is still there. If not, I leave it at that and move on. :)
 
I swear that always zaps the mojo right outta me! I hate when that happens, im so sorry honey!! I hope it comes together quickly again for ya :(
 
Oh, no fun at all! I've had that happen to me many times, but I always come out with something different and better the next time around...
 
That's no fun! My Photoshop ran out of memory the other day... my settings got all wonky somehow! Anyway, I had started a CT layout, been working on it about five minutes and it was flying together. One of my favorite layouts with that kit! I tried to save it. Wouldn't save. No memory available. Photoshop froze and I couldn't do anything. Totally had to reboot my system. Lost the layout. Tried to recreate it. I mean, come on, it only took five minutes. How hard could it be? Never could get it flowing again. Couldn't recreate it and I went ahead and finished the layout and posted it and I hate it and want to go take it down. Ugh. I've never taken a layout down and I am not about to start today! Oh well!
 
Oh that sucks!! I am sorry girl! Sometimes when that happens it actually is better because you start fresh and go in a whole new direction that you love!!
