I'm so excited! I just finished scrapping all of the pictures from Keira's Make A Wish Trip to Disney World back in Feb/Mar. Took me 47 days and I did 134 pages. I was hoping I could share it in album form, but I can't figure out how to do that anymore with Shutterfly, so I made my facebook album public for you girls to check out, if you want of course. :) I still need to scrap a cover, but otherwise, it's done!! :w00t:
My goal was to finish before Harper arrived, and then I tried to set a goal of Sept. 15th, so I finished 10 days early!

It's in chronological order of the trip too, just start with the first page in the album. :)

And I just figured up that I used 51 kits, each was used a minimum of 2 times, some up to 6 times. 30 of those kits came from SSD, some I've been hoarding since we went to Disney for a 1 day trip back in 2010, so a few of the kits have been retired since then.

Yay. I love looking at other people's albums. I have no idea why, but they intrigue me. :)

By the way, I love the name Harper. :)

You are a srapping rockstar to have gotten that many pages done, done well, I might add, in that amount of time. What's your secret to getting them done so quickly? I finished a disney album last year but it took me MONTHS! Your album is gorgeous. Thanks so much for posting it, and the timing is perfect for me because I totally have Disney on the brain right now because we are going to Disneyland in October!

LOL! thank you!

Well, I sat down and pre-planned my pages before I started. Basically just tagged the photos I wanted to scrap in 2 page layout sections, then I just made categories for each 2 page spread. And made myself scrap at least 2 pages a day. Toward the end I was getting really tired, so I started using templates and i managed to fit a few more pictures on a page. So I ended up eliminating 6 pages from my final total. My starting estimate was like 138 pages, last week I thought it would be 140, and I finished with 134 pages.

Thank you so much for posting this! Not only did I love Keira's album, but it also reminded me that I just need to upload a few pictures to be done with my cruise book. Well, Shutterfly was having a 50% off code for 12x12 and fee shipping so I saved $48. :) That's awesome.

I think the deal ends in like two hours if anyone else reads this and has something ready to print!

wow, thats awesome!! I am impressed with how many pages you did! What an amazing keepsake this will be for her, and your whole family!

Holy wow! That was incredible - I love that you got it all done and told so much! Each page was great, and the book as a whole is perfect! I had no clue half of those places existed, lol - it looks like a lot of fun! I love it all!! :) And even more - I'm glad y'all got to do something so amazing :)

What an amazing trip and your album is gorgeous Vanessa! I loved reading your journaling and seeing all the pictures.

Wow I am blown away by your album, we have season passes and we go often to disney. I love all the pictures and amazing journaling, wish I could get my stuff together and scrap my pages. I did notice on the butterbeer and fun page there is a small error in journaling "fort he" is probably supposed to be "for the" I would hate for you to spend $ on getting it reprinted.

You did a wonderful job preserving the memories of this trip! What an amazing week you had! Everything is wonderfully scrapped too - thanks for sharing - I loved looking at all the layouts! (and I really needed the inspiration to finish scrapping our FIRST Disney trip back in 2006! :D)

Thanks, i will fix that!

Thanks so much for sharing this! I haven't started our album yet because I'm kind of overwhelmed by the amount of pictures and information I want to fit in. I've also been struggling with whether to stick with strictly Disney themed kits or to mix some other themed kits in depending on what we were doing each day. I like seeing how you integrated all of the different kits and still made the whole thing seem cohesive. You gave me more ideas - now I just need to get started! :)

I felt the same way before I started. Getting started was the hardest part. Just gotta commit to finishing it.

I am kind of glad i am so ocd about chronological scrapping. Lol!

oh Vanessa. It looks like such a wonderful trip!

The interaction with Ariel totally made me tear up a little. Those princesses are just so good to kids!!!!
