That I've been doing Weight Watchers through all of August and I lost 9.6 lbs in August which is 25% of my goal :thumbup:

The problem is, I'm so an instant-gratification person that I wish I "looked thin" now rather than "thinner than I was" KWIM? I thought I was looking good, then I took a picture with teeny-tiny Lynnette when we had lunch a week and a half ago and started going into the woe-is-me thing for a bit. (we're going to blame it all on her, LOL!)

Then I realized today (as I reached for the last pair of jeans in my drawer - geez I need to do Laundry) that every.single.pair.of.pants.i.own FIT. In July, I had 2 pairs (out of 7) I could wear and 5 I could squeeze into but they gave me a muffin top.

It was a really big boost for me today and I thought I'd reach out for desperate kudos. LOL!!

woohoo!!!! that's awesome! Congrats! :)

I need to lose about 10 lbs, I wish I could make myself exercise, I know that would do the trick for me! Maybe you can inspire me!

yayyy I think it's all how you feel and how your clothes fit..not a number..I'm weight obsessed though and it's NOT healthy....

I need to drop some baby weight..blah one day...Teaghan is gonna be like 5 and I'll still be saying that

Traci, that is so awesome! I'm doing Weight Watchers too and as of today which is almost the end of Week 5 and I am down 8 pounds! It is so encouraging when clohtes start fitting better! Keep it up!

that is awesome!! Losing weight is so hard and you get stuck at certain points and seeing the proof not just on the scale but in your clothes fitting so well is nice! Keep up the good work:)

GOOOO Traci! Almost all pants I have give ME a muffin top. Im also an all or nothing girl - that's why I dont ever go on a successful diet.

Picture of you and Lynnette please!!!!

feel ya on the instant thang! I need to get back on the horse myself and lose my weight I had lost plus the rest i didn't. Blah It's so hard! Keep up the good work it motivates us all!

Yay Traci!!! That's awesome! It feels so good to fit into your clothes (again)!

And, did we ever get to see this pic of you and Lynnette, and did we hear about how much fun you must have had? If so, I totally missed it...

you are doing PHENOMENAL Traci!!!!

and i'm right there w/ ya on the instant gratification... is started doing WW and then kinda fell off cuz i just kinda got that whole effed up mindset.. don't go there! i'm hoping to take your lead and jump back on the wagon....

BIG HUGS

and

CONGRATS!!!!

keep it up!

*mwah*

That's awesome Traci! I keep putting off starting again. But that is so cool for you!!!

Thats a HUGE accomplishment traci!!! don't sell yourself short! you are doing awesome! And 25 percent of your goal!?! you should be so proud! yay for fitting into your pants and yay for some great weight lose, that is incredibly awesome!

That is AWESOME!! Congrats on the weight loss!!! I know how exciting that can be!!!!

I am a lifetime member of WW....lost 86 lbs but recently gained 10 lbs...thanks to all those summer BBQs!!! I am signing back up this week before it gets out of control and I lose my free membership!!!

That really is SO awesome Traci! Good for you - you must be super proud (I know I would be!)...

BTW, I really like when you said you lost 25% of your goal weight. I'd like to lose 50 lbs, and it looks so daunting... but if I lost 10 lbs, it would be 20% of my goal weight - and that would feel good!!

Dang Traci...I should've called you when I was up there last week, and you could've had a photo taken with me, and then you could feel all and skinny and totally hot! :)

oh...and btw...congrats! That really is awesome!

I think that's awesome! I'm doing WW too and for me, it's all about baby steps. You just have to think about what you're going to look like a month from now and also how far you've come. Congrats on a very successful first month!!

Oh and the pic of me and Lynnette turned out blurry and horrid (guess the waitress isn't much of a photog) but here it is in it's best "cleaned up" version:

We had super fun! We had lunch at The Elephant Bar (which Lynnette had never had before so I made her have the lettuce wraps :))

Good job, Traci! You are doing great!

I just started doing WW again 2 weeks ago. I am down 5 pounds, but I agree, I just want to be down more. I am still 25 pounds above what I was at last year at this time and I had wanted to loss 20 pounds then.

Great job!!!

I am starting WW next week and it's nice to see that there are so many here that are doing it! Gives me a little more hope hehe...

Way to go!

I'm at the opposite end right now. :( I have about 2 pair of pants that fit well and everything fit at the beginning of the summer. I've gained back everything I lost in the spring and I just can't kick myself back into gear. I want to lose 10 lbs. before we go to Vegas in October but unless I kick it in right now there is no way. Send some willpower my way, will you???

Congrats Traci, that's terrific! And I think it's a cute photo.

I started WW July 10th, and I'm down about 13 lbs so far. I have 40 to lose total, but for now my goal is 30 and I'll be thrilled if I can make it to 30 and maintain. I'm at the same point as you jeans-wise. What stinks is that even if I get down 30 or 40 lbs, I'll only change by 1 or 2 sizes. Oh well, I'll still look much better!

Kick butt woman!! You're doing awesome!!

It should totally be about how you FEEL, and not about what the SCALE says. Any weight lost is a huge accomplishment!! Keep going woman!!!

You're doing great Traci! I know what you mean about wanting to look thin right away after putting in so much effort. I have lost 55 pounds, and I feel like a loser telling people about it because I am still fat. LOL

Woooohoooo Traci! That is so awesome!

I'm an instant-gratification girl too, so when I was on WW (and should be again), every week I would go out and buy myself something new. Didn't have to huge or expensive, sometimes it was a new pair of jeans, or a new shirt, sometimes it was just as simple as a new nail polish. Something to remind me of what I was working towards.
