Wait. No. Wrong kind.

Anyhoodiddly, it has been 1 year since I last smoked! I had smoked on and off ("off" being during my pregnancies) for almost 10 years. I. Am. Done!

**does a fanciful Irish jig**

Wow, that is awesome! My brother has tried to quit various times and has not been able to make it stick. That is a tremendous accomplishment! Great job!

Congratulations!:)
I have been smoking (again) for 9 yrs....I know, this is so bad....I quit for 11 yrs
through seeing a hypnotist....No, not in a group session at the Holiday Inn....LOL
It was a one on one session....I really need to go back....The only thing that I can
blame it on is my divorce over 9 yrs ago....

Congrats Annie!!

I wish I could convince my MIL to quit smoking. Besides the health concerns, I hate when she has been outside chain smokin' and comes in and wants to hug and kiss all over my boys with her smokers breath.. yuck!

YACK!!! Hey, at least she smokes outside... gotta hand her that much! LOL :) You (smokers, I mean) don't realize how badly you stink until you quit... then it's like "Holy hell! I smelled like THAT!!?!"

That is just so awesome and such a HUGE accomplishment. I am an ex smoker and totally realise how significant that is, way to go! I am the same way I always quit for my pregnancys and then after Im done nursing I start back up. Well now I am really determined not to do that.

Good for you, girl!

Congratulations!!! Having watched my husband quit twice (the first time he quit for 4 1/2 years, but he started back again last December after he was laid off), I know how hard it can be.
And you're right, my DH said he noticed cigarette smells on others so much after he quit, and he also said food tasted better after he quit, too.
Did you use any other tools to help quit other than willpower?

WTG! That's aweseome! I really admire those who quick during pregnancy... but can't understand why they start up again.

What I hate is when I go in to get a facial... the lady who does them smokes and her fingers always smell like cigaretts... and she's rubbing them all on my face. EW!

My brother has been smoking for prolly 10 years. He's only 30 but can't even laugh without going into fits of coughs. Sounds like he's going to hack up a lung. I wish he'd quit... scary.

Big Congrats! That's a huge accomplishment! My Mom quit last year after smoking for most of her life - she used Chantix and I never thought she'd actually be able to do it. We celebrate it every six months and I give her a little gift just to let her know how proud I am of her and thrilled that she managed to quit.

Congrats Annie ! I know how hard it is to quit, because both DH and I are ex-smokers. We finally quit 4 months ago after I found out I have asthma !

Aww that is so sweet of you! I'll bet it means SO much to her!

DH surprised me by remembering and it feels great to know he's proud!
