Just getting started--needing help understanding

I have purchased Photoshop Elements, I have spent hours admiring layouts and kits on several sites. Where do I get the basic info on getting started? Do you have a program or book that you would recommend? I have done probably 400 regular scrapbook pages 12X12 and want to switch to digital. Thanks for your help!

Welcome to the Sweet Shoppe. When I started, I just found various tutorials on the Internet and practiced until I was comfortable with the software. It is so much easier to learn when you have something to refer to.

Welcome to the Sweet Shoppe! Jenny pointed you to a great thread, but I also wanted to send along a "plug" for Jessica Sprague's classes found here. She has an Up and Running with Photoshop class that's great. I purchased the class as a gift for my sister and she's found it extremely helpful. Jessica is a fantastic teacher!

Welcome!! I hope you can find what you are looking for! If you have any specific questions about where to start don't hesitate to ask us!! I did the same as Jenny and just fiddled around until I was comfortable. I found people I knew who did it and asked questions whereever I could! GL and I can't wait to see your first pages! <3
