Just a little thank you for SSD

LOL! This thread cracked me up! Fly free butterflies! Fly free!

But I have to agree with the kits here, they are useful and if I had more money I would buy them all!!

I have bought some trendy stuff before and I end up not using it and it sits on my hardrive and takes up space!

See, I like realistic too, but I like realistic buttons, bows, ribbons, silk flowers, paper flowers etc...I have tried the twig thing, and even used a real butterfly, but I prefer to have my digi pages look more like real scrapbooking pages. I don't do a lot of blending or extracting either.

I am so with you! Love quality stuff that doesn't look like clip art, but I just can't get into the totally realistic stuff. Looks beautiful and artistic, but it's so not me. (Though I did use a twig once--it worked for the page.)

OMG Samara that is tooo funny ~ I swear no more drinking at my desk - some how it ends up on my computer screen!!!!
I have to agree - I'm not a big fan of nature on my page!! No dead insects for me -

so i'm all paranoid now.. i tend to put lots of leaves in my kits.. lol

I love your leaves! I just bought Berry Patch because of the berries and leaves. They're different than the ones that look like they've just been picked up off the forest floor though. The yellow and green kit is next on my list. Is it Fresh Cut, or something like that? Keep 'em coming!

LOL Samara

I just noticed after looking at it 3 times that not only is it stapled but it is also screwed and taped as well!! That butterfly isn't going anywhere!! HAHA LOL

I have to agree that i love what the designers create here and why i buy it by the truck load, lol. I love the look of those realistic kits with the flowers, leaves, etc, but I can't make it work (just look at my wedding day page :P).
I've been loving the funny comments in this thread, they've been cherring up a rather gloomy mood :) .

LOL Samara! That is too hilarious! Yeah, I totally love some of the realistic pages I see in the galleries, but I also suck at using those kits. I bought one, scrapped one page (after struggling with it) and never used the kit again.
Misty and Mich: don't worry, your kits are fab and not quite what I think of in terms of the trendy realistic stuff.
