July Jabber - LCW July - win a $25 gift certificate!

It's funny to read about people with no memory for dates/ages. I have a terrible memory for events, details, names, etc. But for some reason, I know the dates, birthdays, ages, pretty well and know exactly how old I am (I don't act my age, but I know what it is 😆).
That's me as well! I even know phone numbers from back then (or from my first job).
I even can recall what happened today 22 years ago... but that's an easy one, because I was in labor all day at home until we had to rush to the hospital at the end of the night... (Here in the Netherlands it is/was pretty normal to give birth at home).

Anyway, my weekend plans: preparing for a birthday celebration tomorrow, including grocery shopping, meal prepping, cleaning (my husband does most of that part, lucky me) and decorating.

@Meliora Sorry to hear about your camera... hope it works once it dries off
@jagruti patel Didn't watch the game, but the result is about as surprising as the one for yesterday's England/France crazy score

I had an awesome day (chill morning, long walk on a sunny breezy day, then some quilting, fondue on the deck, and some scrapping). I should be more productive but at least I'm rested and happy 😁

Just got back from an extended weekend with my family. Was packing our stuff and found out I had forgot my (expensive) camera at my grandfathers house.
Outside.
In the rain...

o_O

Praying it works. I have to give it a week or so to dry first, before I even try
This will be a long week for you. I hope it still works. That is so disappointing.

Had a good memorial and had a blast at the lake with family, my face is burnt to a crisp and the kids are burnt but turning tan.
We are heading home tonight, 8hr drive to home. Hate leaving my son and the family but gotta do what we gotta do.

Anyone else been busy elsewhere this past week? I feel like I have hardly had time to work on my double feature pages and I am slipping behind. I hope to get some pages done soon. And since everyone is talking about the weather.... we have been pretty hot here in southeast Idaho too.

here in Finland we have have some cooler weather, especially during the night, although we are having midnight sun, and we will have some showers, actually August is rainy weather, so our "summer" is end.

We are melting in Oregon, too...just another reason to scrap inside where the ac is!
I just did three pages to catch up, I am beat! LOL Can't wait for the next challenge!

Today was so much cooler for Ottawa, high of 18 C (65 F) and a cold wind (and some rain now and then). I liked the reprieve and we're going back up to some great summer weather (not too hot) tomorrow!

And I'm lucky to be keeping up with the double features, although I am going to bed way too late way too often... I am sooo slow at it 😐 you'd think after 18 years, I'd have gotten faster at it, but no... 😆

I'm over here wondering what day it is?! I argued with one of my girls yesterday that it was NOT Wed (when it really was). She won that argument!

We are busy getting ready for the girls to visit their sister in Wichita,KS, my husband to have a work thing that same week in Dayton, OH, which leaves me home alone with the pup....and uninterrupted Scrapbook time for a whole week! Woohoo!

My problem is that many of these challenges for the Scrap A thon are not speaking to me and what I want to scrap right now, so it may be me scrapping just to scrap. Which means I don't post them online. We shall see!

Have a great THURS (I think that's right!?)
