outpatient procedure wednesday to remove fluid in his lung and put his port in.
The fluid in his lung is post op fluid.. and should have reabsorbed but hasn't. It is making him cough consistently and hard for him to breathe, so they are taking it out.

He does not have cancer in his shoulder but he does have a very rare bone disease. He, of course, does not remember the name of said disease, so I am waiting for the MRI report so I can at least have SOME info on it. His doctor isn't concerned about his shoulder so I suppose I wont be either. Will update again wednesday.

Oh my goodness, he is having a hard time of it isn't he! Hope he starts to feel better really soon and they get all of this under control for you all... sending you positive thoughts!

Good news that the shoulder thing isn;t cancer and that the DR doesn't seem too concerned. Hope it goes smoothly for both of you tomorrow

Sounds like you guys are finally getting some answers, and good thing doc doesn't seem too concerned about it! Hope the surgery tomorrow goes well and quickly!

I hope he is comfortable soon. Fluid in the lungs cannot feel good! So glad that it is not cancer. Ihope you get all the answers soon. Prayers and hugs!

oh no that he hasn't been able to get rid of the fluid in his lungs. Hope he feels a lot better after he gets that removed. And :( on the shoulder thing. Hope that it ends up to be nothing

Praise God! I am so happy that he does not have cancer in his shoulder! I hope and pray he can begin to recover after they drain this fluid. He needs a break and I'm sure you do too!

The fluid in the lungs suck!! but yay for the other stuff. No cancer in the shoulder is a good thing and if it wasnt bothering him before maybe itll stay that was after chemo is all through and not be a concern to do anything about.

Hope the procedure tomorrow goes well and that he is able to breath easily afterwards. Still sending you both prayers.

Thanks for the update. I'm glad he doesn't have cancer in the shoulder and that his doc isn't too concerned. I hope you get the name soon so you don't have to keep waiting and wondering about this, at least. I'll be thinking of him on Wed and hoping this makes him a lot more comfortable.

Thanks for the update, Sara! I'm very happy to hear that the shoulder is not cancer, too. Hope the outpatient procedure goes well and provides good news and relief. Continued prayers for you and your family!

Sorry to here about the out patient procedure but hopefully it will help him feel much better. We are all rooting for him!

I know it must seem like you all are being battered from all sides right now. So glad you got a little bit of good news in the fact that the shoulder is not cancer, but am hoping that after the out patient surgery, Jeff will start feeling better. Will keep sending out the prayers and PT for you all.
