Ive seen it all!!

My husband went out today to check the mail. Well normally the mail would be in the mailbox right? I guess they have a new delivery service because our mail was kinda bunched/crumpled up and tied with a rubberband and thrown up into our yard!! We are expecting a letter from social security. I already called and complained because this is just stupid. I dont know what the mailperson is even thinking...maybe they were a newspaper delivery person before delivering mail? LOL
 
Luckily it was just junkmail. I do not really like the new mailperson here (it is a woman). We had a letter which required a signature not long ago and she did not even attempt to get the signature just left the slip in the box and drove away. My husband had to chase her down and when he did she did not even ask for id of any kind
 
Wow, thats insane! And very illegal! Since it seems to be a pattern of irresponsibility on the part of the mail woman, I'd not only call in and complain to her superviser, but file a written complaint. She is setting you guys up for mail fraud and identity theft in a bad way. I wouldn't put up with it, if I were you.
 
Holy crap thats crazy!! I hope that they cut that crap out real quick. I agree that could be so dangerous!
 
the supervisor for my area called me back a little while ago and asked me if I saw the the person throw it in the yard and of course I didnt actually see them do it BUT I know they bind stuff with rubberbands when there is alot of stuff so Im just going to assume it was her who did it. She is the only one who would have our mail after all LOL. Where we live the person who delivers mail is not employed by the USPS though...it is subcontractor so I dont know how that would work exactly. Seems like a bad idea to sell out the contract to what I would assume is the lowest bidder because of all the sensitive material (SS #'s, account #'s, medical info) being mailed. I just wonder how well they check into the people who subcontract for the government
 
Oh I'd be so mad!!!!

I hate our mail delivery people, too! Back in February there were 4 bills we never got- 1 of them being our mortgage, so I had to call them and get a new one which put our billing statement-dates off, and they're still off by a month! Argh!
I'm wondering where the hell they are if we never got them! Not good with frickin' people stealing identities nowadays! I'm pissed like you are!!! :(
 
wow. what is this world coming too next thing you know my lawn guy will be coming over to do my housework. :D
