I've had the best day!

Not that I don't LOVE my oldest child lol, but today he went with my parents to Alabama to visit my sister and her boys and it's just been me and little Miss today. It's amazing how much calmer the day has been lol..I've scrapped TWO pages, Ella took a LONG nap and I haven't had to watch or listen to one children's program all day! I forgot how much easier it is to just have one :p
 
A couple of weekends ago, my DH took my oldest son (4) up to the cabin for the weekend so I just had my 2 year old. I couldn't believe how easy it was with just one - especially bedtime! I half didn't know what to do with myself. ;)

I can't believe I ever thought I was busy with just one kid. :)

Well, it was just for the day..they'll be home here in a bit but it was nice while it lasted..makes me think I won't be TOTALLY sad when he starts kindergarten next year lol :)
 
LOL I remember those days!! Now that mine are all teens/pre-teen I am wishing for those "easy" days again!! So much drama dealing with so many teenagers at once LOL

Oh I hear ya! My oldest turned 20 in December...prior to December I had 3 teenagers in the house...but ya know...he might have lost the "teen" in his age...but he doesn't ACT any older than a teenager...so it's like I STILL have 3 teenagers in the house. ...but thank goodness no PMS!
 
I just had a little taste of this myself since I just went shopping with Rory, and it was so nice just the two of us!
