Im reading New Moon right now. I started it last night around 10:00 and got so mad when Edward left that I just had to put it down for the night. Now I am to the point where Bella is learning to ride the motorcycle with Jacob and hearing Edward's voice...so now what Im wondering is Edward around somewhere watching her or is she just hearing what he would say to her in her mind? Or something totally different? Im having a hard time getting through this book because I just think its so stupid to have the whole Cullen's family just LEAVE!!!

Just. Keep. Going.

:)

I agree, that was the most frustrating book for me. But stick with it, it gets better. ;)

Think of it this way. Would there be 2 more books if Edward never came back?

Keep readingggggggg. It gets GOOD!

It was my least favorite of the four. Edward is not around watching her, you'll find out later where he is. I have theories as to why she hears him, but I can't tell you because it involves information you get in the last book. LOL

well thanks to my daughter I know he comes back along with some other details of the other two books but its bugging me why she keeps hearing him!!

LOL Im trying but it isnt keeping my attention as well as the first one did. I got the first one around 11:30 yesterday and had it done by 9:00 last night with about 2 hours of breaks to do some housework and eat. Its taken me all morning just to get from when Edward left to where she is learning to ride the motorcycle.

I found New Moon kinda dragged, but I knew I had to finish it to read the last two. Convince yourself that the next book is better, but would NOT be the same without what you learn in New Moon. lol

Ughhh I normally read so much faster when the book holds my interest anyhow. The first one took less time to read the whole thing then getting halfway through this one!!

I thought it was hard to get into, but she's a GREAT writer and totally makes the story believable, which is probably why it's so long.

It's gonna be harder to read if you are a fan of Edward, but trust us all..it's worth it to just keep on keepin' on. :) Everything happens for a reason.

After seeing the movie, my husband is considering reading the books, possibly just picking up at book 2. I told him it was definitely my least favorite book. I'm a fast reader, and I couldn't get through it quickly enough to move on. I'm so not a Jacob fan.

exactly! I'm a fan of Edward... so parts through new moon and Eclipse were hard to read.... but you are so right about its worth it! The story needs that hard stuff.

OK I finally finished the second one. It was HARD but got easier once Edward was back. Im kinda torn because I love Jacob's character and feel sooo bad for him but I also love Edward. Thing is Bella kinda annoys me. Im not sure why she does though. I love Alice though. Dont really get Rosalie but my daughter swears Ill get her attitude (for lack of a better word) in the next book. So hopefully I can get my hands on the third one really SOON!! My bff's daughter is in the process of reading it so as soon as shes done I can borrow it.

yeah I agree the same with you on all the characters. Bella annoys me all the way until the middle of the fourth book. I think its because she is immature sometimes. I do really like jacob's character... but I just love edward's so much more. Alice is my favorite just because of her attitude, and yes Rosalie's attitude will be explained. lol.

so Im wondering is there going to be a fifth book?

well there kinda is a fifth book. Its called Midnight Sun. Its twilight from the point of view of Edward. Sadly a close friend of Stephanie's leaked it to the internet and she will not finish it at this point. If you google Midnight Sun you'll find the first I think 200-300 pages of the book.

You should read it... its much more intense since its from his view. Especially when they are in the classroom the first time he meets her! :)

I am Team Edward all the way so any parts of the story without him drag period!!!!!

Really? I didn't realize people had such a problem with Jacob. I LOVE Jacob, I am a huge fan of his. I love the parts with Jacob. Its not that I don't like Edward, I love him and I love that Bella ends up with him, but I really love Jacob's character. Its true, Edward leaving really works with the entire story line.
