iTunes Playlist for the kids

I want to make Keira & Cooper a playlist, they both love music and dancing.

Can you guys suggest some songs for me?

this is a good idea! i love Laurie Berkner. you see a lot of her songs on nick jr. so cute! there are other bands that have songs on there too, can't think of them.

Some songs my kids love (I have older boys - 10 & 8):

Dancing With Myself
The Lion Sleeps Tonight
Life is a Highway
Stray Cat Strut
We Will Rock You
Walk Like an Egyptian
Werewolves of London

They are really into anything by Toby Keith and Tim McGraw.

My son's playlist (he's 7) is quite... eclectic. Everything from Jonas Brothers and Naked Brothers Band to Journey and Michael Jackson. But his favorite are those KidzBop songs. Basically they're popular songs sung by kids. And they don't usually make my ears bleed like some other kid music does. lol

oh gosh mine like KidzBop but I just laugh....

I will say the latest two (15 and 16) are way better than some haha...

There's one my kids replay over and over..drives me nuts..My Love on #11 haha the yelling kids for the bg vocals drives me crazzzzy

DS's playlist is vintage disco. Stayin' Alive, Car Wash, Boogie Fever, etc. Great for dancing and not as annoying as most kiddo stuff...

Who knows Yo Gabba Gabba?! mine are young - 2 and 5 - and they love those songs.

"There's a party in my tummy, so yummy! so yummy!" (you know you wanna dance)...

DH just bought a CD (the MP3 download version) at Amazon with lots of Yo Gabba Gabba songs for only $5 two days ago.

And you konw what? I got my son to eat peas AND soybeans this week by singing that song during dinnertime!! "Lawson, the PEAS want to go to the party in your tummy!" (and, of course, the peas spoke to him in squeaky high funny voices, LOL! "Yes, we want to go to the party in the tummy!")

If you haven' seen Yo Gabba Gabba you must think I'm crazy...:p

My kiddos are almost 8, 5.5 and 2.5 and we listen to lots of Disney and Nickelodeon/Nick Jr. type stuff - Miley/Hannah, Jonas Brothers, High School Musical 1-3, Selena Gomez, Wizards of Waverly Place, Demi Lovato, Ashley Tisdale, iCarly, Spongebob, Camp Rock, Spectacular, Radio Disney Jams, Disneymania, etc etc. We borrow a lot of CD's/DVD's from the library, we're on the hold list for the new Yo Gabba Gabba CD now! My kids love that show, I think it's annoying as heck though lol!
