What are you reading to celebrate? :)

I finished up Hollow City by Ransom Riggs yesterday (which I loved) and now I'm on Dawn by Elie Wiesel which is the 2nd in his Night Trilogy. I'll probably read Day today also b/c they're both only like 100 pages each.

So, I have an excuse to just lay around and read today? Awesome!

HA! Ok, I'll let ya know!! I've heard nothing but rave reviews about it, so I'm anxious to read it (plus, I want to read it before the movie comes out - I'll have to see it if NPH is gonna be in it!)

Nikki, I'm only about 1/4 of the way through it. So far it's pretty good, Interesting, but not captivating. I'll let you know my final thoughts once I've finished.

Fun--I didn't even know there was a National Reading Day! I'm in the middle of the Allie Beckstrom series. I just started book 6, but this is the start of the series.

Are you all using eReaders? I do and I was wondering if I should read an actual book every now and then so my Kids see me reading a book and not think I am plugged in. I remember always seeing a book in my Mom and Grandma's hands and maybe that is why I like to read??

I have a Kindle Paperwhite. It doesn't have any function other than for reading, and my kids sometimes refer to it as my "book." That's one thing I love about it. I've wondered the same thing about using tablets as eeaders. :)

I do both although mostly paper books as I rely on our library and the digital versions take longer to get.

I can't remember the last time I read a paper book. But the kids see me reading on my Kindle (eeader only) and know I'm reading. My 10 year old has even read a few books on it, though he prefers paper.

I pretty much exclusively use an ereader (I have an older model Kindle Touch). I do have a Kindle Fire, but I don't read on that because I don't like the backlighting. Chloe (not quite 2) often brings me my kindle and says "mama's book!" So, I think she'll understand that I'm reading and not just playing all the time. :)

Cool! I finished up this one on Saturday morning. :) I couldn't put it down. Such a great adventure, romance, and travel book. The fact that it's true makes it even better!
