it's a winter storm!

We have a lovely warm summers day here. Thankfully it's not as hot as it was yesterday. Yesterday made me VERY thankful to have air conditioning in the car! :D

we were supposed to have a 'winter storm.' yes, it has been snowing all day, but it's like, slushy, icky snow. so disappointing.

Well we weren't suppose to get dumped on - but the weather did something funky (seriously that is what they said on the news!) and we could be up to 9 inches by the time this storm cell is done. The drive to drop off Blake at school this morning was so slow! They usually pre-treat the roads here before storms - but since they thought we were going to be missed, they didn't. So it's pretty crappy out there. So glad I'm inside with my boys :)

It's been in the low 40s and sunny here for the past couple days. We're due to get your storm on Thursday though  Could you just keep it please? :D

this. but probably not enough for a delay or snow day. which i desperately need. (nevermind that I only worked two days last week. that didn't count. luke had the flu. lol)

It has been rainy all day. Why couldn't it have been a little colder-then we could finally be getting snow instead of more rain!

it's dry and not below zero anymore. this weekend is said to become warmer. like the first signs of spring. oh how i long for that.

It's cold and icy here and it tried to snow but we're usually in this pocket where everyone around us gets dumped on and we're lucky to see a dusting. I think it's supposed to get up to almost 60 over the weekend...Colorado has the craziest weather...at least the sun is almost always shining.

just completely overcast here today, but yesterday we had lots of rain and high winds and actually lost power at work and even our generator didn't come on!

we got a dump of snow (again) last night, but I'm ok with it because it isnt minus two million degrees outside. Actually me and the kids went out after lunch for over an hour...I shoveled, they played.

My 3yr old went to sleep in 20 minutes tonight though...WOOT! LOL

I swear it has been raining here off and on for a month! It's driving me nuts. If it isn't raining then its cold. Southern cold not north cold lol! Then when its raining its warm.

I'm at the northern tip of your storm, Laura... so we are only suppose to get lake effect - which I live far enough away from Lake Michigan that we are suppose to only get like 4 inches... but the winds are horrible... we have 40+MPH winds since this afternoon and they say they are to continue into tomorrow... brrr... so ready for spring!

I'm a bit south of Marie here in Maine. We are supposed to get another 3-6 inches in my area tomorrow into Thursday... this is after the 10 inches on Sunday and the 30 inches a couple of weeks ago. ENOUGH snow already! (At least I might get a snow day out of Thursday.... *fingers crossed*)

It was sunny and around 50 today. Looks like it'll be decent for the next couple of days, maybe some rain this weekend. Waiting for 'pretend' spring to retreat and the snow to come back, it seems to happen like that every year.

Last week we had a couple days of waking up to snow and by noon it was all melted and sunny.

The snow is melting, so it's pretty muddy here in Northern Germany... well above zero. I just want spring, I'm so fed up with gray and cold... but it usually takes LONG in our part of the country :(...

Four Snow Days and 21 inches of snow later, I get to go back to work today. For Kansas, this is record snows. We've had a very dry winter.

Freezing rain with a high of 36 yesterday and sunny with a high of 58 today. Grey and in the mid 40s the rest of the week.

Makes no sense at all

If this slush turns into snow accumulation we'll be going on the 2nd snowiest February in recorded history. It's wet and slushy outside, and it's supposed to be like this for awhile.

It's sunny but cool and windy here, supposed to be in the 60s all week. We had 30-40 mile an hour winds on Monday, it was crazy. I had to rescue our giant barbecue cover and practically got blown over in the process, haha.

haha. sounds like the el paso winds finally made it to you. our grill was spinning in a circle earlier in the week

We are at 8 inches right now - with an additional 2-3 possible this morning. And they were forecasting that we would only get a dusting! Boy were they wrong!!
