Awwww! That is exactly what my babies looked like in a ton of the pics I took of them, haha! Unless they are really sleeping, and until they start smiling well, it is hard to get a good baby face look

LOLOL, Kellie! That just totally cracked me up. Newborn photos are so tough! I am looking through the ones of DD when she was tiny and the majority are like that one, slightly alien. LOL. I didn't have the time to devote my attention to photographing her all the time.

I will say that my photographer friend gave me a few tips. If baby is rooting on her hands or her hands keep moving and stretching up awkwardly, swaddle her for pictures. Another trick is when they are calm, lay them on their belly and take pictures. They often fall asleep when they're on their bellies... so that's a bonus.

hah, that is too funny! I don't have kids and would never say this to my friends with babies, but yes, sometimes babies can look like little aliens! but they can also be pretty adorable too
