Is your tree down yet?

Mine is..I tore that baby down first thing this morning lol..okay I was a little more careful than that but it's down...It's amazing how quickly my Christmas mood leaves the day after lol. Everything is all packed away til next year. Don't tell the kiddos but I even packed away a lot of the gifts they got..I'll pull them out this summer and we'll have Christmas in July :p
 
i took mine down today too. i'm the same way; as soon as christmas day is done, i'm done with christmas. i heard christmas music on a local station today and it was like 'uggh, its over people!" :D
 
We always say that we're going to leave the tree up until Jan. 1st... but then we get so annoyed and just want our living room back. I took everything down this morning, too, except the cotton-ball snowman my 4 1/2 year old made! I'm so happy to have my house looking normal again!

I know what you mean! There have been Christmas movies on all day today (and yesterday) and it seems so ridiculous. I love to watch Christmas movies, but the day after Christmas and then after, no thanks! :p
 
Ugh! Ya'll make me so jealous! I usually take mine down the day after Christmas but, haven't been feeling so great so taking it easy......but the trees are driving me Loony! I may just have to make DH and the kids do that tonight!:p
 
Our's won't come down till the week of New Years...I even hate taking it down then! I love our tree so much!
 
I'll probably do it Jan 1 as usual... this year the kids and DH decorated and half the lights went out, so it may not make it much longer! sad looking tree....
 
Ours is always up until the weekend after Jan 1. We host a NYE party every year because it's DH's b-day. All the Christmas decor stays up so I don't have a bare looking house for the holiday. I'm much too lazy to take down christmas decor and the decorate special for a NYE party. :)

We always took ours down after Epiphany (Jan 6) when I was growing up so doing it before Jan 1 seems way too early for me.
 
When my mom starts complaining that I have my tree still up... :p

Usually I'll leave it up until the second week in Jan, after Epiphany... but I've been known to have it up until Easter on year... but in my defense, I had back to back to back business trips and was gone all of Jan and Feb... home a weekend and back on the road until after Easter... my Mom finally had enough of it and went to my apartment and tore it down... LOL!
 
All our stuff came down today. I get the post-Christmas blahs...BAD. Getting my house back to "normal" keeps me occupied.
 
We are celebrating with my mom & step-dad and brother this weekend so I don't wanna take it down until we are actually done celebrating.
 
We'll take ours down next weekend, which day will depend on my work schedule (which I still don't have for January!).
 
Nope...we have 2 and they both stay up until after the new year...Although I did start taking down some of the other decorations today...
 
Ours came down yesterday. Normally Nate likes to have our tree up till New Year's (which drives me NUTS) but since Claire is all about getting into the tree this year, we decided to take it down. I just love decorating my house for Christmas and I love how the tree looks, but once the 26th comes, I'm so over all of it!! I've actually been cleaning and organizing all day today and I am loving how uncluttered my house looks now, lol!!
 
Ours is still up...2nd set of grandparents arrive tomorrow for a week, so it won't be until after the new year. I love having Christmas decorations up, though! :)
 
Here we have this *silly* tradition to put ALL the decorations down only in 01/6 :blink: on Wise Man/The 3 Kings day. If I put mine down before that my neighbors and family will throw rocks on my house for sure LOL
Oh and we suppose to eat fruit cake and pomegranate too on this day. :glare:
 
Amazingly I took ours down yesterday! It was a major first me LOL. I have always left the tree up until new years at the very least but mostly even longer than that. I just love having the tree up :wub:! However this year we got a few ginormous toys and just really needed the space the tree was taking up. Even with the tree down I'm still struggling to find space for all the new stuff the kids got LOL!
 
Mine comes down NYE usually. I need to go get an ornament box.. and maybe a new tree. Mine has a leaning problem. :blink:
 
We took ours down today. I still need toput away the wreath & my holiday dishes. I usually get ours down before we leave for our holiday travels, but we had to leave quick to beat a blizzard. I hate coming home to our empty tree. I find it a huge letdown.

Our decorations are still up and will be until next weekend. They've been up since the last weekend in November so our house will look bare when they all come down :(

Christmas lasts for whole of December and then until I go back to school in January for us here. I love Christmas :thumbup:
 
I always take down our tree and decorations on New years Day, but this year we have my niece's birthday party to go to in the afternoon and have to drive over an hour to get there so I'll be doing it the next day. I love having the decorations, but I always put it all up the last weekend of November, so by the time January 1st comes, I just want it down!
 
We still have my side of the family's Christmas on New Year's Day and it's at our house so we'll be keeping ours up but usually I take it down right away too.
 
As a kid we kept our tree up until after Epiphany so I argue to keep ours up until then too. I love having it and most years we don't put it up until right before Christmas Eve or on Christmas Eve so it definitely hasn't been up long enough here.
 
I will be taking our trees down on the 1st. I hate taking down my Christmas stuff and this year it will be worse as all of my other house decor is packed already so our home will look so bare till we move at the end of the month.
 
Our will stay up for awhile longer...we just enjoy it so much. Besides I was so sick for the better part of the month and didn't get to enjoy it like I normally do.
 
No but only because I was too busy cleaning the rest of the house today. I scrubbed it clean and it feels so good. I'll take our decorations down next weekend. :) The boys are enjoying them too much right now.
 
I took everything down on Christmas night!! LOL! I love the holidays and the decor, but once the presents are open - I'm over it! LOL! I was glad to have my house back to normal!
 
You have got to be kidding!!! Actually we just celebrated Christmas with my side of the family today. We got so much snow in Kansas City that she got "snowed out" and finally made it in today. It'll prob come down sometime this week...I'm not in any real big hurry.
