That I MUCH prefer the kiddo in B&W ? LOL .. Maybe it's my cruddy camera.. (well I'm sure it is LOL ) but he just looks so darling in B&W pics.. All my coloured pics are just funky monkey looking :D

I love a good b&w. Probably cuz the lighting in our house is miserable and everything gets a horrid yellow tone to it. :(

I think that's the problem.. Ce is already kinda orangey (ohgosh I'm sorry kid LOL.. ) because he's mixed.. so add in the scary orangey wood paneling in the living room and you get an overpowering "I eat too many carrots" look. I try to fix them.. but.. I'm really not so great at it. Granted.... he looks orange if I take pics outside too :D

Poor Ce, LOL. Now I'm picturing a carrot with that bright pink bandana thing around it's top, lol.

LOL! My little brother actually was orange when he was little because he ate waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too many carrots (vegetarian)....he always looked like he'd just washed orange paint off of his hands

I go to B&W a lot when I have a distracting background or busy patterns on clothing. It really is a great way to turn a so so photo into WOW photos.

I LOVE B&W...but that's becuase I usually have a distracting background or the kids have on some color that doesn't match anyting I have to scrap with!

....hahahaha about the carrots!

I like black and white photos a lot!

They work well with lots of kits and hide some of the distracting details.

When I first saw Lauren's post I started looking for a quote I saw recently and Shoot! I cannot find it anywhere right now. Something about a color photo reflecting what a person is wearing but a black and white as more of a reflection of their spirit. Does anyone know the quote I am talking about?
