Is anyone familiar with Creative Memories?

Well that was a stupid question - I mean, I know you're FAMILIAR with CM, but can you answer a question for me? LOL

I have matching baby boot albums from Creative Memories for my kids' albums. I just had layouts printed (115 of them :thumbup and now I need to put them in my books but of course they don't fit on the pages that came with the albums back in the day because they aren't true 12 by 12 pages. So will the new true 12 by 12 CM pages fit in my old school albums? :blink: Help!

And on the same note, how do you adhere your pages to your album pages? Adhesive I assume, but what kind do you prefer/recommend?

I started out using CM when I was a paper scrapper before realizing that their products weren't for me at all. I didn't like their albums because you *did* have to attach your layout to the page. I much prefer the plain top-loading page protectors where you just drop your page into the sleeve and don't have to worry about adhesive.

You have a couple of options with the CM albums though. And I'll admit I'm not familar with their new albums. The last time I used them was 1999. LOL! But with those older albums, you could either use a double-sided adhesive tape and attach your page that way. OR what I did on some of mine was simply slide the layout in so that it was between the CM page and the page protector. That held it in place pretty well, and I didn't bother with adhesive.

I have no idea, but are the ones that you printed 12x12? I think the old CM books were 12.5x12.5 weren't they? You could just glue your pages onto the pages right into the middle so that it looks like it has a border.

The new CM books are true 12x12, 8x8 or whatever size you have. I bought three of the 8x8 because that's the size I print in and they are true sized.

I think just sliding them in with the page protectors like Libby mentioned would work. The page protectors aren't top-loading but rather slide on from the side, so your page wouldn't slip out the top. Plus, the outside edge of the page has a sort of "lip" on it that would help keep it falling out the side. You might just want to slightly tack it down, but speaking frome experience, there will be at least a few times in the future when you will wish that you hadn't glued it within an inch of its life.

That's exactly what I meant when I said glue it - not glue glue it, but rather tack it in the corners. But, like Libby said, it shouldn't move it you just slip it in there.
