having a ridiculously long day? Hubby switched to swing shifts yesterday, so now he's home and up while we are sleeping, and sleeping/gone while we are awake. My days seem so long. Today has been especially bad, since the kiddos are going crazy! They've started teaming up to make me go insane!

How is everyone else's day going? :)
 
I"m right there with you, Jenny. Maybe the days ARE longer in Wichita today! LOL I just looked at the clock and thought "HOW is it only 6:20????"
 
I'm so glad to know that it's a Wichita thing, and not just an us thing. Too bad bedtime isn't for another 1.5 hours! haha!
 
Not a bad day. My husband told me while I was sleeping a spider bigger then his hand crawled across the wall and he let me sleep through that then had to tell me about it when I woke up. Did not need that little bit of knowledge LOL. My son is being a pain. He wears his pants for four hours in summer school and says he cannot wear them more then one time. He changes into shorts when he gets home. He does nothing but sit at school. He is not getting the pants dirty. So my husband took a load of clothes to the laundromat to wash out some pants. I guess some people may disagree with me but I say he could wear them at least one or two more times for four hours for summer school. When he is at home he has on gym shorts.Me I am getting tired. Might not make it staying awake until my hubby gets home. Had an appt with a therapist today too. Trying to work through the anger I have over my son's & husband's accident last year and the idiot who hit them. Not sure Ill ever be able to say I forgive him but focusing more now on what I can control and what I can do to make it different for the next person in my situation.
 
Rotten day from the start and looking forward to ending it early :)

My hubby is on mid-nights this pass year and it has messed with my sleeping too, I now go to bed very very late and sleep in more and more. I now miss half the day because i'm sleeping. LOL
 
Not a Wichita thing, but maybe a KANSAS thing?? ;) My day was really long too. My DH works midnights so he sleeps during the day and during the summer the days can be so long when I'm waiting for time for him to wake up and trying to keep the kids occupied.

this...I'm exhausted from trying to keep up with everything, everyone's sleep schedules are off since we are all home for the summer, the kids are constantly whining and fighting or bored, hungry etc. I love them but am already counting down the days til they go back to school on Aug. 15th lol!
