iPhone 4 anyone?

Gosh I hope so. But I've heard those rumors for so long, I can't honestly believe that it will ever happen. I am definitely switching in 2012 though...sheesh that sound far away.

I heard talk that Apple is working with Verizon and hoping to have the iPhone available by the end of the year! We are with Verizon and I am so happy about this!!!! :)

We switched from Sprint to AT&T last year so both my husband and I could get iPhones and we LOVE it! We HATED Sprint and havent had any problems with AT&T. We arent eligible for upgrades right now but Im not chomping at the bit to get a new phone either. Im very happy with my iPhone 3Gs.

I have no complaints about AT&T whatsoever, but hubby had some bad experience with them when we lived in Tucson. We've been with Sprint and Verizon as well, and I've never had problems with any of them. Hubby has had problems with all of them, but Verizon has been the best. He works out in a research complex near two big hospitals, and I think all that concrete interferes with his signal.

I do think the iPhone will be available on Verizon eventually, but I'm really not counting on it this year - there have been too many rumors for too long. But, if they don't switch soon, I'm just going to have to convince hubby to let me switch to AT&T. He can stay with his current phone on Verizon if he wants. :)

Itunes is set up to run "in the background" (I had to look this up today actually, trying to figure out how to get my Nike+ playlist to shuffle). But I guess it works for me because I have the 3GS. ::shrugs:: I'm content with what I have for a while, since there's zero chance of Jordan letting me upgrade anytime soon, LOL!

But Col the new one has FARMVILLE ON IT!!! :D

Omg, that would be the devil! I actually did find an app that lets you view flash sites (it's called Cloud Browse if anyone wants to check it out) but I haven't tried playing FB games through it yet, lol!

I would SOOO love an iPhone. I feel like an old lady without any kind of data plan. But we already have 4 cellphones, and are looking to add 2 more for the twins this summer. And NO plan allows 6 phones. Hoping to jump on my sister's family plan for the 6th if they have unlimited texting. As soon as we do that, I'm dumping my home phone and going cell-phone only.

But still no iPhone in my near future. :(

I would love to have the new one but we aren't eligible for another few months!! We still have the 3G....the 3Gs came out a few weeks after we bought the 3G:( We will definitely be upgrading to the 4G soon!!!!

I am planning on getting a 32gb iPhone 4 at some point. I figure with video recording, the more memory the better. Part of me is convinced that as soon as I extend my contract with AT&T, the Verizion iPhone will appear so I may just wait until November when our contract expires.

The only reason I want to go back to Verizon is b/c my sister won't switch to AT&T. :cursing:

What I'm really excited for is when Netflix becomes available for the iPhone.

Yikes! My bill is going to DOUBLE if I get an iPhone!!! My other option is the new sprint HTC EVO 4G but I reeeeeeeeeallllly want an iPhone.

I absolutely love the droid phones, my sister and nephew have the iphone and they both like my phone much better. I love that the plan is like $40 a month cheaper than theirs. I get unlimited mobile to mobile, text, internet and it is alot faster than the iphone. You might want to check it out :)

I have the sad little 8gig ;) But I have a bajillion songs on it and about 5 pages of apps.
Unless you have an enormous music library, or if you plan to put TV shows or movies on, you should be fine with the 16gig. When I sync a movie on it, it takes up a couple of gigs.

Hee hee - see I'm one of those with an enormous music library - about 50 GB. But, I just have a separate iPod for that. I wouldn't depend on an iPhone for my music, just like I don't depend on my iTouch for music.

I have the iPhone 3G right now and am available for an upgrade in July. I really didn't think I would be interested in the 4G cuz I didn't think it would do much more than any of the other ones, but I watched the conference video from Steve Job on Apple's site and I was soooo drawn in to the 4G! Now I want one really bad. I like the option of multi-tasking and being able to create folders on my pages. I know some of the functionality on my 3G will not be available with the new iOS4, like the multi-tasking. I figure if I'm going to upgrade, I should go ahead and upgrade to the 4G versus the 3GS.

We were Verizon also up until a year ago. My husband and I were both Blackberry users. My hubby loved his blackberry and I thought it was ok but had ALWAYS wanted an iPhone, so I finally talked him into moving over to AT&T. I am REALLY happy with the move and he has been ok with the move. He misses the multi-tasking ability that he had with his blackberry. Sooooo, I see 2 new 4G's in our future! LOL But I can say that our service and connection with AT&T has been 10 times better than what we had with Verizon and everyone that talks to me on the phone has told me how much better the connection sounds also. So all in all, we are really pleased with the switch!!!

If I'm using Runkeeper, I have to start the iPod first, then go to Runkeeper, otherwise it messes it up. I have a playlist just for running so I put it on shuffle, and off I go.

I have the 3G, but I seriously JUST bought it. I have zero chance of upgrading too :D

J - if you upgrade to runkeeper pro ($9.99) you can select your playlist within runkeeper (and choose whether or not to shuffle). I have a 3G and it works fine for me.

I've put the phone on my birthday list (I have a 3G and am eligible for an upgrade). My husband will probably get one now as well since the data plan we would need would cost the same as we are paying now for one phone.

We just switched from AT&T to Sprint and got the HTC EVOs- and love, love, love them.

We weren't looking to switch, but we are so glad we did. We actually had gone shopping to learn more about the new iphones because 2 of our 3 phones were eligible for new ones. We have been with AT&T forever- we still had rollover minutes- and were planning on getting 3 of the new iphones, but once we compared plans (we are saving close to $70 per month, plus we added one more data plan, and several features that cost extra with AT&T were included with Sprint such as push to talk and the Sprint navigation system - AT&T's cost $9.99 per month per phone if we wanted it them) and researched the EVO's, we were sold.

Is Sprint now offering good upgrade costs for returning customers? Thats why I first left them is they only gave a small price off phones for current customers but gave great deals to new ones. I figured they'd eventually have to in order to stay competitive but I wanted a new cool phone that day so I went next door to cingular ;)
