Do you know if a cracked screen on an iPad can be repaired?

It's usually just replaced. First check with an Apple store to see if they can do it, then look into independent repair services. I've seen quotes ranging from free (rare--at Apple stores) to $500. :crying:

For your next iPad, invest in a really strong case. That's what we did because we have kids who use our iPad.

well the crazy thing is...its my son's iPad...i lecture him all the time about being careful with it and my dad tries to take something out of my son's hand and makes him drop it...but i will definitely cheek out the case

I don't think apple do it free, I looked into getting Jacks iPod screen fixed through apple and it was going to be £80 even through it was under warranty as cracked screens aren't covered. I only paid £110 for the iPod LOL. It was his fault taking it outside so I refused to pay to get it fixed so he uses it with the cracked screen still!

You can try e-bay for replacement kits. They are usually china makes and not genuine Apple screen. But it works to abt $50. Heres a listing I found.
