Intergalactic kit

I just bought the Intergalactic kit. I love all the bright colors and the stars. However, I am having a really hard time extracting the files. The computer keeps telling me...There is already a folder with the same name as the file you specified. Specify a different name.

So when I try to rename it, it still wont work. HELP!!!

What should I do???

weird. try restarting your computer and see if that kind of "resets" it. i have had similar trouble. otherwise you may have to completely delete the file and re-download.

when you go to unzip does it give you a choice to rename it? Try sticking a 1 behind the folder name. What program do you use to unzip?

No, it doesn't give me a choice to rename it. To be honest, I don't know what program is used to unzip. I just right click on the file and select Extract All. Then is just does it automatically.

I tried restarting and that didn't work. So I deleted the items and I am about to redownload. I will let you know if it works.

If the new download still gives you trouble, try right clicking on it and selecting "Extract files....". It should make a window pop up that lets you direct where to extract files. Try selecting somewhere other than your desktop to extract it to.

Still wouldn't work :( I don't know what to do. I have never had this problem before, infact I unzipped some folders earlier this morning with no problems.

I have had the same problems (not with that kit, sepcifically) but when people zip something with a Mac and I try to open it in Vista. At least I think that's the problem. Do you have an option to "unzip here" rather than "unzip all" ? That has been working for me.

No, I don't have that option. This computer does run on Vista, so maybe that is the problem.

I kept having this problem on one of my other CT's from one certain designer...boy it drove me crazy until I figured out how to work around it!!! Glad you got it figured out!
