Instagram?

I've never got into Instagram. I have an account and have posted infrequently in the past. I don't use it on my phone and I know initially it wasn't so intuitive to use it via the pc. I think things have improved though. It's all the # that confuse me - I see uploads with what seem like dozens attached. That must take ages to type out, or do people have a little note file they just copy and paste to. And how do you know what # to use. Can we have a sticky thread for suggested #s maybe, especially for tagging designers we are using goodies from. I do like looking at all the pretty things and Pinterest seems to have lost it's way with all the algorithms and ads.

My instagram account is on my siggy, it's @nietis_scrap. I primarily post my layouts on IG and my Facebook album, outside SSD gallery.

I sometimes forget to use hashtags, but I do have them saved in Google Keep so I can cut and paste the ones I need from there. I mostly use Facebook Business Suite to create and schedule my posts.

Here are some of the hashtags I've used:

#scrapbook #scrapbooking #digitalscrapbooking #creatives #scrapbooklayout #digitalscrapbook #digitalscrapbooklayout #memorykeeping #memorykeeper #digiscrap #scrapbookersofinstagram #modernscrapbooking #scrapbookinspiration #digitalcraft #crafter #crafting #scrapbookingprocessvideo #watchcherylscrap #sweetshoppedesigns @sweet.shoppe.designs

Thanks for those.

I'm going to give Instagram another whirl. I'm https://www.instagram.com/fruitysuet2/ (I obviously couldn't remember my login for my original fruitysuet account so created a second one!).

Sorry to hijack your post, but is there a page somewhere with all the designers / sugarbabes socials listed? Sometimes it’s hard to find people on Instagram and elsewhere because they have a unique handle.

Me. https://www.instagram.com/clevermonkeygraphics.digiscrap/

You'd have to go a ways back to see more posts past new releases and layouts. My bigger followings are currently more FB so I interact there more. Although on my personal account if all you did was hide and watch, you might have been removed on your birthday - LOL.

Robin - even though I'm a designer here, I love the Instagram posts SSD has been doing!!

I post my pages to Instagram. My feed there is pretty exclusively scrapbook and Disney posts at this point LOL I like that I can see posts from all of my scrappy friends, no matter which place the things they use come from, and all of my pages from various places can go there. The app I was using for a while to go through my phone to post changed something and I can't get it to work anymore. Now that Instagram finally has the desktop interface working properly I have found it much easier to post my pages, I just can't set them up in advance anymore.

There are several settings to change what you see on Instagram, limit the number of ads and see posts from your favorite profiles, I know it's not something quick to do, but it's worth it if you want to use the app.
