Instagram/Phone pics ?

I am using my phone's gallery and instagram both for a lot of my AWITL pics this week. I noticed recently though that when I email myself the pics then download them and pull them up in PS that the res is 72 dpi .... won't that look awful when I print? I do not resize them larger or anything so I am wondering if it will be ok. I really do not want to put together my awitl book and have it print awful.

Do you think it would make a difference to remove the SD card from phone and take them directly that way as opposed to email?

As long as you drag them onto a 300 pixel canvas and don't resize them any bigger, they should print fine. But if they're super tiny when you do that, you may want to try downloading them directly to your computer. It might be reducing the resolution to 72 ppi to keep the email size small.
