The kits are so LUSH- and they have the most amazing flowers EVER. As someone who loves to cluster, I value that enormously.

My co-worker Katrien. She's the most amazing woman I know.
She has 4 kids, works 30 hours a week at the place I work, is self employed for another 18 hours a week.
I seriously don't know how she does it!

20. I love Sweet Shoppe Designs because of the excellent quality and amazingly talented designers. Honestly, I'm not active in the forum/gallery but I do check the store each week when I receive the newsletter and I'm always amazed at how much talent there is. I wish I could buy everything...

2) What's your name and how did you choose your username? My name is Lori Johnston and my user name is LoriJ... pretty self explanitory on how I came up with that one! LOL!
3) How long have you been scrapping / digi-scrapping? I started scrapping when my first daughter was born which was 10 years ago this month, I switched to digi about 6 months after that, less mess and easier to get in and out of with a small baby.

my son eating salt and vinegar chips in bed with me last night at 130 am...he takes meds tohelp him sleep (due to his Aspergers/Autsim so every now and then he w akes up and has the muchies...I call it "sleep eating" )

14) Who do you admire? Why? Elizabeth Warren comes to mind right now. I love a classy dame who takes no crap and fights for those who need a voice.

16) Do you have a pet peeve? Ridiculously bad grammar. I wouldn't say I'm a "Nazi" about it because I fully accept that language evolves. But there are some things, like subject-verb agreement, that just totally grate on my nerves.

I love the designers and community so much! This is always where I come back to and I quit even going other places. The designers are my favorites (as people and as awesome designers!). All my friends are here! Plus there is a product for EVERYTHING!!! If I have a specific theme I need to scrap, this is the place to find it! I just love this place. :wub:

14) Who do you admire? Why? It isn't 1 specific person, but I admire the special needs parents who go so far above and beyond meeting their own child's needs and become voices/advocates for the whole community.

2) What's your name and how did you choose your username? My name is Cassie (said like KC) King and I go by KingsQueen82 here. I have the world's best hubby who has treated me like a queen since day 1 and King is our last name so "King's Queen" seemed fitting. :) 82 is for my birth year b/c I'm really not that original on my own! Lol

3) How long have you been scrapping / digi-scrapping? I've been paper scrapping for as long as I can remember but I stumbled across digi scrapping about 2 years ago when I was dabbling with project life--paper style--and discovered digital cards I could print and cut out. We are a military family so frequent moves are a given in our way of life and digiscrapping just works so much better for me! :)

4) Share your favorite layout from your own gallery! It's really hard to pick a favorite. They're all special to me in one way another because they tell the story of my life and that of my family's but if I had to choose one I think this one is my favorite for the moment! :)




5) Share your favorite layout from someone else's gallery! It's impossible for me to pick just one favorite. There are so so many talented ladies (and probably a few gentlemen too!) out there. Kjersti is someone who never fails to impress me with her gorgeous layouts. I saw this one today and just oooohhhh'd and aaaaahhh'd over it. Such gorgeous cluster work and her photos are always so beautiful!

7) If you could only eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be? I kinda hate food. I see eating as a necessary evil however if I could only choose one food to hate for the rest of my life I suppose it'd be chicken fajitas ---with sour cream of course!" :P

8) What are you afraid of?I'm a constant worry wart. I worry about everything under the sun and it sometimes affects my ability to enjoy the moment b/c I'm worrying about all the "what ifs" in life. That's something I'm working on to change in myself! Probably the thing I worry about the most is that I'll receive that dreaded knock on the door during the times my husband is deployed to a combat zone.

9) What's your favorite book / movie / tv show? I really don't watch tv but the hubs and I do enjoy catching up on Game of Thrones every now and then. I'm an avid reader and I'll pretty much forget life around me exists while my nose is stuck in a good book. I could never pick a favorite book but I do have a favorite genre! :) I'm a big fan of young adult dystopian novels and I always read the book before I see the movie!

10) What are you listening to? I'm loving pretty much anything by Sam Smith right now.

13) If you could live anywhere in the world and money was no object, where would you live? Honestly I love love love to travel but of all the places I've been I love it most here in Colorado. If money were no object I'd have myself a little hobby farm with a mountain view and I'd travel the world but always come back home.

14) Who do you admire? Why? I don't have just one person I admire but rather a quality in people that I tend to gravitate towards. I really enjoy the company of positive people. Happy people. People who are quite the opposite of me. I find their company to be nourishing to the soul because I myself tend to be a pessimist and being around people who are different than me helps improve my outlook and see the good in life around me.

16) Do you have a pet peeve? Mouth sounds. Ooooh how I hate when people smack their mouths, or the sound of cats licking themselves, dogs lapping up water, people chewing....I'm pretty sure I am over the top sensitive and my poor hubs eats in fear around me! Lol..

19) What is the last thing that made you laugh? Today my 7 year old daughter's jaw dropped when I told her I didn't have internet when I was a kid. In fact. I told her, I didn't have a computer or a cell phone either! She gaped at me for a good minute or two before she grabbed the hair dryer diffuser (that round funny thing you put on the end of the hair dryer) off the wall and put it to her ear and said "ooooohhhh yeah! You had phone like this and they had long curly cords on the wall!" It was just the funniest thing coming from her. I could just see the far off look in her eyes! Lol...


20) Why do you love Sweet Shoppe Designs? In my opinion SSD has the best designers out there and I am continually amazed week after week at what they come up with. Every interaction I've had here, whether it be a store purchase, a gallery comment, in a forum thread, with the designers I CT for, etc, have all been more than pleasant. It's a friendly place to be! :)

19) What is the last thing that made you laugh? My son telling my daughter that her hair (in a sock bun for her first recital yesterday) looked like a hamburger and he was going to eat it. She was not amused!
