My daughter and her two preschool aged children live with us and she is very limited financially....I'm hoping that some of you Mom's with young children might be able to suggest some sites that have inexpensive craft ideas/activities for her to do with the children....I loved Lena's & Tabatha's Acorn Donuts and she is definitely going to do that with them....:)

Thanks so much for any help....

ce and I have made a lot of "people" out of old crystal light tubes.. toilet paper rolls.. all sorts of stuff. I'll brb.. I have to go do something for ce, but there's this cool site I use to have bookmarked with crafts to do recycling stuff in your house :]

I do tons with those foam stickers. I buy the frames, bookmarks or door hangers when they are on sale at Michaels and then buy seasonal or letters. I have also found kits at Target(seasonal) and buy them after the season for next to nothing. If you keep the base materials at hand(book marks or picture frames, then you are pretty much ready to go whenever you need a craft.

Thank you so much for the link Lauren....I'll be sure to check it out and to pass it on to my daughter....:)

Robin, Thank you for the suggestion about keeping on hand things like frames, stickers, etc. That is something I never would have thought of--even though I work for Target....LOL

Here's a fun, cheap activity both my daughters loved. All it costs you is a cheap can of shaving foam. And you don't even use much of it. I sat my girls up at the kitchen bench and let them loose with it. For the older kids, it's a great way to get them to practice writing their letters in the foam.
