in or out

random 'how do you scrap' question....
when you're scrapping a page, do you tend to zoom in or do you leave the canvas at full size so the whole page is visible?

I only zoom in to check my journaling, I HAVE to see the whole page or it doesn't work for me!

I keep it where I can see the whole page unless I am doing something like threading a tag, clipping a paper clip of checking typos, then I zoom in.

I scrap at 12 x 12 and generally my canvas is at about 15%, so the entire canvas is visible. I only zoom in for intricate work.

Gotta see the whole page! I do zoom in sometimes to tweak shadows and do small stuff like stitches or masking... But 75% of the time I have the canvas filling my screen so I can see everything ( I think 15% zoom like Sheri said).

Yeah my screen is pretty huge too... lol
I do zoom in when I get to my shadowing, paint, and text though.

Yep - same here. I mostly keep it so I can see the whole page. I zoom in occasionally for little details like dodge/burn or to make sure my journaling is the right size, etc.

I zoom in sometimes, especially for journaling or moving small elements around or lining things up together. I almost always zoom in when I am doing my title work as well. But as soon as I have what ever I was fiddling with done I zoom back out so I can see the whole page & then move grouped things around.

I recently learned that I can zoom in on my journaling. I didn't know I could do that! I was so excited about it, because I couldn't see what I was typing unless I made it larger, and I didn't always want it that way. I'm still learning new things everyday since I started digi scrapping!

I have a 27" monitor also and I like to see the whole page until I get everything where I pretty much want it. I do zoom in for detail work though and journaling. My eyesight is not what it used to be (and it's never been good :D) so I find myself zooming more and more these days to do things like line up the alphas in a title, erase bits and pieces of a string that I want to wrap around something , etc. I have my scroll wheel on my mouse set up so I can zoom in and out quickly without having to actually click on the zoom icon.

I scrap at full size but zoom out after too see how it will look smaller cause my screen is rather large. I zoom in if I'm burning/erasing/dodging/or something like that.
I guess I like to move it, move it. ;)

Mostly stay zoomed out until I'm journaling or nudging things around...

This is exactly what I do! Especially when placing small things like staples or stitching.....I zoom in to get it RIGHT where I want it. And I ALWAYS zoom in for journaling.

I have a 24" monitor and my page doesn't quite fit unless I zoom out just a little. I have to see the full page as I scrap though. Like others, I'll zoom in for intricate work.

I'm like everyone else--zoomed out most of the time, zoom in as needed. But "as needed" is pretty frequent for me, at least 25% of the time. It also depends on the page--most of my layouts I use the whole page. If I'm doing a page where everything is clustered in one part of the page, I stay zoomed at whatever will let me see the entire part of the layout I'm working in as big as possible.

For the most part I need to be able to see my whole page. I do zoom in for a few things though. Mostly, when an element is hard to grab with the mouse to move cause it's small or thin or something. If that makes sense...
