I'm so ticked off at Canada Customs

I ordered my flippin Christmas cards on Nov 12, loads of time for them to be here. I still haven't gotten them, so we called WHCC today to make sure they actually sent them (I ordered the labels on Nov 16 and already have those from WHCC...). They have been held in customs since November 18th! WTF! I had my Tracy Joy bag held up for a month in there, I ordered these in plenty of time, so this just really really pisses me off.

Grrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing::cursing:

Ugh, yeah...I hate customs!! I've had so much stuff held up there, and then taxed for no reason, it's annoying!

Oh no... is always like this?
My Secret Santa partner is from Canada... I already ship her gift but I hope it doesn't get stuck for long...

Nope, Jenn...everything has to pass through customs when it comes into the country, and sometimes they just hold things for like forever before they release it and let it come. It's such a pain in the butt!

Back when I was a consultant for a stamping company, we had our product come in from the US, and we could track the shipping (it came via UPS), and I'd watch my product be stuck in customs for a week or so. Then other times it would come through immediately. It sucked! :thumbdown:

Customs is a PITA! Everytime I send my friend in AU something for xmas I have to send way in like Oct cause it always gets held up! I think all the countries need to spend more time on border patrol and forget the boxes! LOL!

Oh but you know...can't do that because someone might try sending something like perfectly legal FOOD through the border! Laura (scrappinsweetie) tried sending me white chocolate M&M's one time, because we couldn't get them up here and I LOVE white chocolate...and they sent it BACK! :thumbdown:

However, Kristianne (MamaK) found a way around that one - she sent me food from Hawaii and marked it as "local giftware". Hahaha. :D

we have steel parts come up from Mississippi for work, and I track them online from when they are supposed to arrive. I have one part that was shipped October 27th, still waiting on it. Yet I just received some parts yesterday that were just shipped on November 24th. So not predictable.
