I'm so exictied its really happening!

I'm starting college in August! :thumbup::thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

Its always been something I wanted to do but got pushed off because of the kids. Well I can finally do it! I still have to finish filing out some paperwork but I'm so close to officially being enrolled!

I took my AVON money and bought a little car this weekend so I won't have to take our van. Its not new (its a 01) but I paid for it with my earnings and its mine all mine. I owe nothing on it. It was such an empowering feeling! Not only am I starting college but I bought and paid for my own car. lol.

I plan on buying a laptop in August. I have about $250 saved up from working so I'm excited about that as well. The two I'm looking at are $450 & $500 so I'm going to have to use our joint money to pay for the rest but that's okay with me. I worked and was able to pay for half of it. That's amazing to me.

Sorry this got so long I'm just so happy that this dream is finally going to become a reality and that I'm able to buy most of what I need by myself. :)
 
That's SO exciting, congrats! I found an awesome deal on a back to school laptop at Sam's. It had amazing specs (equivalent to my expensive lappy) and was only $400. So you might check Sam's :)
 
that is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATS! and keep an eye out for places that will give you a break as a student when you are looking for a laptop :)
