..that Heath Ledger is dead. :( Pretty sad, and I'm always a sap when people die..even famous people I know nothing about. But yeah...sad for his small child and sad that it could have been drug related.
 
I know...it's crazy! He's OUR age - he shouldn't have died. Especially if it was drug related - how can we help these celebrities realize they don't need drugs to be happy?!? It's just all-around sad... :(
 
Ya for real..MY age on the dot. :( I was watching CNN earlier and it said he was in Mary-Kate Olsen's apartment? So odd..
 
Mary Kate Olsen's Apartment? I dunno, I read he was found in his apartment by the housekeeper..

Either way I'm so sad. He was one of my favorites. And his poor daughter!

The apartment was owned by Mary-Kate Olsen..that's all I know.
 
I heard this on the drive home from work on the radio and my mouth just fell open. Even the local town cops in the gas station were talking about it.
Just horrible. I hate it when young people go before their time.
So, so sad.
Aside from his daughter, I can't imagine how Michelle Williams is feeling. Bless her heart. Even though they are no longer together, I can't imagine what she's going through to know the father of her daughter is gone. :(
 
So sad, I just keep thinking of his poor little girl.
I can't even get a story to come up, must be so many trying to read it.
Sooo saad.
 
Shocked and very sad here too....Jay called me from work right when he heard 'cuz he knows I'm a big fan...just awful. :(
 
I just read the latest report (dated seven minutes ago) and it said that there is, at this time, no indication that it was suicide. Its so sad to think that something as simple as an accidently OD on sleeping pills took him away from his daughter and everything he had here.
So so sad.

Oh my gosh, this is the first I've heard of it. I can't believe it. I remember the first time I watched 10 Things I Hate about You and he was in it. So sad for his young family.
 
How sad. :( I really enjoyed watching him in 'The Patriot' and 'Brokeback Mountain'. He was a good actor and its so sad that he's gone at such a young age.

I still have 10 Things I Hate About You on VHS! I loved it, and it was the first time I was introduced to Heath Ledger. :(
 
Yes, very sad :( So much speculation on how it happened, I feel terrible for his poor family having to put up with all that rubbish. :thumbdown:
 
oh that is sad! this is the 1st im hearing too... wow. he was young... how awful. every moment really is a gift! you just never know.... i hate hearing about death. it stays with me for days even when i dont know the person, ya know. his poor family.

Yeah they just split up in September. I'm REALLY hoping it was accidental or Pneumonia related, for the sake of his family. It's looking like accidental to me-and with Prescription meds-so it may not have been an *addict* or *abuse* thing. Crossing my fingers. It really is sad. He's my exact age too-so it's just such a reality check.
 
Yes, very sad indeed. A Knight's Tale is a great movie, we just watched it the other day and now this. He was so young and handsome too I might add!!! I feel terrible for his family and friends.
 
I am definitely saddened by this especially because of his upcoming role in Batman, which my boyfriend's been following so closely I practically feel like we were on the set with them!

From the reports and news casts it seems like he was deeply troubled by the role and it seriously affected him. I have to admit that I don't think it was accidental but I do think that he was probably in such an altered mental state...it seems like he needed professional help/assistance/guidance in his life.

Sad indeed...

I saw that on tmz.com yesterday afternoon, but other news stories refuted that as the day went on. The latest story from the Associated Press says it was his apartment, where he moved after he and Michelle Williams broke up last year.
