i'm keeping Chloe home from school today

they hadn't had school since last wednesday, and they were sent home early that day. that was when we had the big freeze. they didn't have school thursday or friday, and monday was a teacher day. she's had a cold for a few days but this morning she just kept coughing and coughing. poor kid. so i told her to go back to bed and i called her school and said i'm keeping her home. she may be out most of the week if this cold doesn't get any better. Aidan's eye looks better this morning. it wasn't gooped shut, lol. he was rubbing them but they don't look bad. he might have hay fever issues like i get maybe. Emma is getting a cold too. stupid winter. maybe, if everyone thinks and wishes REALLY REALLY hard, Spring will come!!! i need it! i need my water to work and the snow to go away come on everyone all together now....."hurry spring! we need you!"

I kept my son home too...he's NEVER sick but this weekend he felt really bad, was fine yesterday, then woke up with a stomach bug this am...grrrr means it will pass around my house a time or two before it's gone for good..NOT something I'm looking forward to.

I'm with you girl! I need Spring in the worst way... seriously. It's so gross here in the winter. No evergreen trees, gray skies and mud all the time. ICK!

I'm sorry the sickies are making the rounds at your house. I hope it all goes away soon!
